The 2014 NFC Championship is by far the most painful moment in Packers history. As bad as 2007 and 2011 were, we had a 19-7 lead and possession of the ball with 5ish minutes on the clock in 2014 and somehow lost. When Morgan Burnett intercepted that pass I was 100% sure they were going to the super bowl and the collapse killed me and many many Packers fans inside.

What makes 2014 worse for me is that we were never that close en 2011 and, well, 2007 is quite fitting given how Favre's relationship with the FO was already going down. 2014, though... we literally had the victory in our grasp. 🙏

As a Raiders fan, you made the right choice by not speaking. I was at the game where Carr broke his leg and words can't express how I feel about losing our last home game because the refs didn't see Carr sliding in bounds and our defense collapsing on themselves.

Well hey it could always be worse. You could be a fan of a team that has never won it all. Or like me, a fan of a team who won all of their titles before I was born (Cowboys).

I'm gonna be real with you. I"ve been a Raider fan since 2003 when I was old enough to understand football, and the most painful thing I've ever witnessed was watching Andrew Walter try to play quarterback in 2006. That was abysmal.

I was at The Ravens game where they lost to the titans in 2019. Our 2011 lost to the Patriots in the AFC championship game when Bill Cundiff missed a 23 yarder to force OT ( I know we coulda still lost) that was more painful then the 14-2 lost truthfully.

@douglasjay9561 100%. The 2015 Divisional loss to the Patriots is runner-up to that 2012 AFC Championship loss imo. The Ravens were up 14 points twice and still lost. They definitely would’ve made the SB again (not sure if they beat Seattle). As disappointing as 2019 was, it wasn’t really as heartbreaking because the team just sucked that day and you knew the young core would be back.

Ravens 100% has to be the 2011-12 AFC championship game vs the patriots. Lee Evans dropping the game winning touchdown then Billy Cundiff missing the game tying field goal was devastating. we went on to win it the next year but we could've been back to back. Also the Ravens over Broncos, the Jacoby catch didnt end it. Game went into double overtime, and peyton threw a game losing pick

I would think the Ryan Shazier career ending injury would be the most painful moment for the Steelers. As a Pats fan who wanted that Super Bowl win over the Giants to get that perfect season, I would still put that injury to Darryl Stingley as the most painful moment for the Patriots.

As a packer fan I have witnessed a lot of painful moments in the last decade that I wish didn't cause me as much pain and suffering as they do 😭

tbh the Bengals I feel like the wildcard loss a couple years ago was the worst because it's one of the biggest chokes ever against the Steelers

For the Ravens: it’s undeniably the combo of the dropped TD pass by Lee Evans and the WIDE wide left miss from Billy Cundiff in the 2011 AFC Championship game

I’m glad you didn’t get into Shaun Taylor because that was truly devastating at the time even though I wasn’t even close to being born yet

16:17 RE: Broncos vs Ravens 2012 Division Round. That play only tied the game to force overtime. In fact, it went into a second overtime and it wasn't until Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman fumbled the ball deep in his own territory and Baltimore recovered to then kick the winning field goal that the game ended. Metaphorically however, the game was over the moment Jacoby Jones scored that tying touchdown in regulation. Denver mentally was beaten. Also, the 1996 Divisional Round of Denver at home vs the Jaguars might be just as heart breaking. It was the Broncos best season in 5 years after two coaching changes and they looked utterly dominant in the first half against Jacksonville. Then Mark Brunell picked apart the Broncos' defense after going down 12-0 along with Natron Means leading the ground game to score 20 unanswered points, including a costly 12 men penalty on the Broncos because Michael Dean Perry couldn't get off the field and the Jaguars (only in their second season of existence) upset the heavily favored Broncos in one of the loudest stadiums of all time (the original Mile High Stadium) 30-27. Imo the Steelers had to be the 2017 season. The 2020 team did start 11-0 but I don’t really think anyone had them pegged as SB favorites. That 17 team was at the height of the killer B’s and that team definitely could’ve made it. The Jesse James catch Vs the Pats followed by their bitchslap of a game against the Jags was heartbreaking and the Steelers haven’t been at that level since.

For the Bengals, while the three Super Bowl losses were rough and the 2005 Wild Card you’re right was bad. Absolutely nothing will beat the 2015 Wild Card meltdown. That night completely broke the franchise and the city.

As a saints fan…yeah shits rough also the Jared cook fumble that pretty much lost us the bucs game, AND the fact we had the most different starters due to injuries ever last year

That 2013 playoff game was magic through a tV screen. Lol Probably my most memorable and beloved moment/game I’ve ever watched as lifetime Colts fan. Andrew Lucks fumbled recovery into a diving TD was a thing of beauty! It honestly wouldn’t be an overreaction for me to say it’s my personal favorite football play in NFL history. lol But yeah, it’s gotta suck fir Chiefs fans… I particularly wanna say sorry but I don’t think it’s be too genuine if I’m just being completely honest with ya

You got the moment right for the Chiefs, but saying it's not so bad is not correct... I was a senior in high school and after that game, my dad and I were shell shocked. He had an errand to run (that was an hour round trip) after the game and I rode with him. We spent the whole car ride in stunned, shocked silence. We Chiefs fans absolutely hate Lin Elliot to this day.

As a Colts fan, talking about Super Bowl 44, the Tracy Porter pick 6 is what sealed the game away, but the onside kick to start the second half lives rent free in my head to this day. The balls of steel that Sean Payton had to have for that play call I couldn’t appreciate back then but I do now.

I was so surprised you didn't mention Trey Lance, when listing all the horrors seen by San Francisco, that I checked the date to see if the video was a year old. They completely leveraged current success on a shiny new toy. Nothing last year, this year or next year. It's absurd how great debo Samuels and George kittle and whatever 3 random running backs they're using. As a lions fan I look at this as an example of what not to do. Even if the lions can get a top pick QB without trading they could easily trade back, get more picks and draft defense. QBs like jimmy garrapolo, Jared Goff and jamies Winston can be good enough to win with a great team around them

@@balddad5921 lance was a ridiculous investment and ridiculous fail. And I see him as more like Alex Smith or Teddy Bridgewater. The dolphins got first round picks from 49ers in 2021, 22 and 23 and a 22 3rd rounder. Even with losing 1st round pick from NFL punishment, the dolphins got Tyreek hill with some of those picks. Imagine Tyreek hill or better yet going to titans and get AJ Brown or devonta Adams. The 2021 pick ended up being the cowboys taking Micah Parsons. The 2022 pick the chiefs get defensive lineman from Purdue who played all 12 games as a true freshman. Then Miami used the 3rd round pick on a Georgia linebacker who was a 4 year starter. Now imagine Micah Parsons and Nick bosa together. If Samuels or kittle get hurt 49ers are doomed. Thinking about Tyreek hill, AJ Brown and devonta Adams all being available and 49ers wanting a shiny new toy they incorrectly think can be the next mahomes is so sad. AJ Brown cost a 2022 1st and 3rd. The exact same 2022 payment the 49ers paid anyway but with 2 more 1st rounders. So 2021 Micah Parsons. AJ Brown in 2022. And Jimmy garrapolo under center like he is anyway. That would be as scary as the Bills. How can this video overlook what would have been one of the best teams for the next 4 or 5 years. Such a waste

I was saying the 49ers wanted the next mahomes or Allen. It's like people having a 5 year old car that runs great but decide to buy a car so expensive they can't even fill the gas tank. And don't even sell the old car. I was saying it was the GM fail. Wanting a shiny new toy. If they just kept garrapolo and no trades they would have had Micah Parsons with that 2021 pick. Then the Titans took a 2022 1st and 3rd for AJ Brown. And that's exactly what Miami got in 2022 plus one more first rounder in 2023. Jimmy garrapolo is very capable of winning. They could have had a historic defense and an amazing offense as they lack that big body guy. And I worry what would happen if Samuels went down. Or even kittle. So sorry to Trey Lance. Trey Lance trade is the fail. Lynch and shannahan are the ones who failed. Definitely not Lance. I like Lance. But just like Jordan love GMs reach for a dual threat QB because that's entertaining and really the NFL is entertainment. @@nickdarr7328 again you can't justify the trade being a fail after a few instances. That's like saying someone's a bust after one bad year. Same thing happened with Peyton manning. At first it didn't look great, but obviously he turned out well. So just don't justify something being a fail in so little time that doesn't make sense. Obviously we would have to see how trey pans out first to determine if the trade was a fail on the niners part. Obviously it looks worse becuase those picks have turned out to be good so far but it's too soon to determine if the niners missed out or if treys the real deal

I think as a Colts fan, at least since around 2004, I can probably say a few words about painful moments. The pick-six in the Super Bowl was painful, but it was made worse because every commercial break basically showed the play the next season. I can’t even tell you what the commercial was about. On top of that, we pulled our staters and proceeded to forgo an undefeated regular season and the chance at an undefeated season. There was also the time Mike Vanderjagt missed a game tying field goal, just after Nick Harper picked up a Jerome Bettis fumble on the goal line only to get stopped by Big Ben. Another one was living through a 2-14 season while Peyton was on the bench, then releasing the best player to ever play for that franchise. Then Andrew Luck retired right before the season started, and this was at a time when the Colts were big time contenders. That was a slow one because I had to go through the 5 stages of grief for that one. And I guess to top all of that off is with the ending to last season. One game away from making the playoffs and they lose to the worst team in the league. At least a Super Bowl helps, but it’s been over 15 years now.

I’ve been a Lions fan since I was about 8 and for me learning about the team most heartbreaking for me was learning we were the first 0-16 team and never won a Super Bowl. And the Matt Patricia era I won’t even get into

Being a Dallas fan for decades there has been alot of success..and alot of painful losses, mostly final minutes or seconds of games...5 world championships.. and so many others that got away..66 and 67 vs Green Bay, SB V vs Colts, SB X, XIII vs Pitt, and vs SF in The Catch NFC title game..thats another 6 potential titles..but then again alot of teams that have won alot have their own lost opps as well🤷🏽‍♂️

As a Saints fan, I've lost a ton of respect for the league over the past years. I've been watching football since the 90s and it's getting hard to support.

As a 49ers fan who started watching football in the 2009-10 season, I have only known pain. I'm praying this is finally the season we get our 6th Trophy. I know my grandpa would be happy, he's the one that got me into the sport, crazy to think he's been watching it all crumble over and over since 1995.

Would like to add to giants most painful moment 2003 playoffs against 49ers blowing a 38-14 2nd half lead, giving up 25 unanswered points in 16 minutes. The giants having a chance to chance to win on a field goal but a miss snap and the ensuing chaos flags flew and later the nfl admitted to blowing the call missing a pass interference call.

I was mentally dead several days after the no-call-PI against the Saints in the NFC Championship Game against the Rams.

As a Seahawks fan, I think the aftermath of the interception was way worse than the play itself. It caused the death of the legion of boom and after that, the Seahawks would never win a divisional game.

5:53 Tony Romo is such a cool guy and a great commentator. I rooted for him even though I hate the Cowboys. I will say though it's been harder to hate the Cowboys the last few years because they don't really pose the threat of winning a SB. They do well in the regular season but I know it's all gonna come crashing down in the playoffs, same thing for my Packers. I'm more surprised if we DON'T lose in some bs fashion, typically in the NFC Championship game. Heart breaking shit man

As a Bills fan, I think you can make a good case for the Forward Lateral (also misleadingly known as "the Music City Miracle"). Wide Right was such a close game, and we had three more chances after that. We had such great teams then, and we didn't win-- that's on us. But the Forward Lateral was a fluke play where the other team got away with cheating. And it was our last playoff appearance for two long, painful decades. (Yeah, I know somebody said it wasn't forward, but as someone who has eyeballs, I'm going to die on this hill.)

If you don't think the Lions have painful moments you haven't been paying attention to them enough. Yes losing Barry and Megatron in their prime hurts, but there's also losing a playoff game to Brett Favre on a hail mary, losing to Aaron Rodgers on a hail mary that should've never happened, going 0-16, the overturned PI against Dallas, the ball batted out of the endzone on MNF against Seattle, Green Bay beating them both times they played in 2019 despite leading for a grand total of 0 minutes and 0 seconds in either game, hiring Matt Patricia, the entirety of the Matt Millen era, and losing the division to Green Bay on the last day of the season TWICE. That's all that franchise knows is pain

Worst moment in Steelers history by far for me is the 94 AFC title game loss to the Chargers. 2nd is SB 30 the following year when NOD threw 2 awful int's when they had a chance to win, then he leaves in free agency the next season and basically kills his career with the Jets.
