He is inefficient from deep, midrange is average and can't pass too well. He would have done well in the 90s or early 00s, but you need a guard who can pass and shoot well or do one of those things extremely well.

It's bias. People don't want to admit this but if you're not black you have to play at an insane level to even get in the league. And then even if you get in you will have biased coaches and other players trying to trip you up like what happened to Jimmer Fredette. At times he had a higher points per minute rating than even Kevin Durant and was shooting 45% from deep and he would get under 10 minutes or DNP for multiple games while they benched him for midget Isaiah Thomas who was worse in every metric. Meanwhile black players like Trae Young or Lonzo Ball can have atrocious stats shooting under 40% FG and be given the keys and endless chances to "develop". Look at Jokic playing at historic levels and people still claim he's hype and try to tear him down. Same for Doncic or any other white dude, and can't forget how they treated Lin like trash and ran him out of the league because he was Chinese. Guarantee that if Mac had a darker shade of melanin he'd already be on an NBA team just off athleticism alone.

@@jtotheshua885 Regardless still the same old boring " jump over Shaq" concept we seen a million times. Is it that difficult to come up with something besides jumping over someone? There were like 6 or more dunks in this contest that was jumping over someone.

@@BoxingFan-uj5uu he probably planned on it originally, but after seeing the judges give him a crap score for his first dunk that was completely original he thought otherwise and went for dunk he knew he could do. It’s one thing if you have 3 tries to do something cool, but if everyone (but Brown) was getting penalized for misses than that would throw a kink in trying new shit.

I know there's shorter people that can dunk but this kid not only dunks the ball, he makes it look effortless and the movements are insane. Good on you young fella, I don't know what your g league stats are but if your putting up decent numbers and can dunk like that then maybe some team should consider drafting up a contract for him.
