He broke Allen Iverson and JJ Reddick’s high school all time scoring record! The kid has handles, a shot, has worked on his defense like crazy. He deserves a shot in the NBA and the Sixers would be stupid not to give it to him. If not them, one of the bottom dwellers of the NBA need to. With the right opportunity he could be an all star.

Gotta love it!! The support everyone gave Mac was dope. Shattered the stereotypes that night
The dunks were full of creativity. That's what we need in the dunk contest. In recent years, only him and Aaron Gordon were doing something new. What matters the most was they did those dunks with only one try and did it effortlessly

Bad ass! Last time I can remember an underdog win the dunk, was Brent Berry in '96! 😂
Man, i was wondering what happened to Mac for the past couple of months…always wondered why he wasn’t getting more chances because he was always clearly a phenomenal athlete…had no idea he won the dunk contest!
I love when the little guys get an opportunity and don’t disappoint! He was great and I was loving every minute of the dunk contest! At 6’2”, his head was near the rim! Incredible!!
@3rdCoastAlliance
Жыл бұрын
Facts!! At 6'2" and still getting your head to the rim, that means you're jumping nearly 3'10" off the ground (which is equivalent to 46"). He's among the greatest leapers in the league, doing acrobatic and technically difficult dunks, and STILL yamming it with authority. A lot of other people's dunks get soft when they get more technical, so I'm grateful to witness Mac displaying some much needed ferociousness.
@ShinigamiUchihax2

@@3rdCoastAlliance 6’2 is probably what they listed him to give him a better opportunity to play professional ball, they do that to everyone under 6’5. Dude is 6’1 and 1/4 barefoot this makes this even more impressive. His wingspan is 6’2 which is slightly above average for his height, shit I’m 5’9 and my wingspan is longer than his which again that all makes it more impressive. He’s very athletic and explosive. But his height is one of factors he’s not in the nba, sure there’s have been shorter players but they don’t rely solely and explosivenesses and athleticism they play very fundamentally sound basketball their BB IQ is off the charts, they know how to distribute the ball and how to make plays. Mac has built his game on his crazy athleticism and speed that fades away with time and makes you more prone to injuries as well hence why they overlook him. I like the dude a lot he’s legit, seems very humble and he’s a hard worker I hope he can figure out what he needs adjust to play at the next level.
