It's not easy. Because of a lot of PL defenders know about his play now. He's also falling down on his dribble success rate. Mitoma needs to completely change his style of play next season. You can't expect a goal from him.

@@SneakyMex Then he's not a PL top player. Top players have the ability to solve it on their own. You can know by looking at players like Ronaldo, Messi and Heungmin Son. I think Mitoma already has an aging curve.

Mitoma isn’t even playing that bad. He was just so good last season. He just hasn’t been getting the ball played to him as much and he has to defend more so he got less energy to attack

He was tackled so badly and had another rough play by Shellfield and worsen his injury. He's available the end of April but while he's injury Brighton now 5 th→9th. no point he comes back this season.

They are not a big club meaning that they only have a few substitute players (for Mitoma's position there's literally non), but they need to play Europe games, meaning that their players need to play like 1.5 times more matches than other small clubs.

If it's big clubs like Man City, they got 2 subs that can play well for every position eg they got Dias, ake, akanji, gvardiol, stones for CB. At the early time of this season, estupinan was injured and enciso was injured, making Mitoma need to defend more and work more oftenly in the midfield.

守備のタスクが増えたこと、相棒のエストゥピニャンの怪我、過密日程が続いたことでパフォーマンスが落ちている。それによって低い位置でボールを受けることを強いられる三笘は1対1を制しても、ペナルティエリアに侵入するまでに時間がかかってゴールに繋がっていないように感じる。

Mitoma assisted not only for strikers but for Pinyan, too. it's rare that wingers sacrifice their chances for defenders. Hope Pedro and Ferguson could score more even when Mitoma was injured.
