They aren’t even one liners in the traditional sense I think, he just whips them in there in between transitions and it’s very entertaining for me.

That one continuous shot in the 2018 film during trick/treating was probably my favorite shot in any film ever. And I’m glad the first Rob zombie Halloween gets some credit here, it definitely aged better than expected. 2007 was also a badass year for Halloween in general

That whole thing about Michael Myers being homophobic because of Halloween Kills is mostly just jokes. There's a couple of serious tweets but most of them are just poking fun at the contrast of the new Chucky series where he says 'gendya fluid' compared to Michael killing two gay guys or the butt of the joke being that they're worried about a homicidal force of nature being homophobic.

Barry is a walking W at this point he covers the two best sports leagues, has fantastic arguing/debating chops, bold opinions, has funny and dry humor, running jokes, and is now talking about my favorite movies. Keep doing what you’re doing Barry ❤️

I've only seen the Halloween from 2 years ago. While I'm not a fan of American horror movies (gore and action just don't scare me) I thought it was still a good overall movie. Characters, acting, cinematography were actually pretty good.

Check out John Carpenter’s The Thing if you haven’t. Same director behind the original Halloween, but it has wondrous practical effects to add to the acting, characters and cinematography

Halloween Resurrection I think Halloween 2018 did some really cool stuff, but I like the Rachel and Jamie more than the characters introduced in this one. Halloween 3 is only so low because Myers isn't in it, and I've really only seen it the one time way back when. I'm sure its' a better movie than Resurrection tho. It'd be fun to watch all of these in a month and make a more definitive list, as it's quite possible I'd rank 2018 higher as a movie but I really did like most all of the previous movies quite a lot. Have you seen the Saw series? If so, it'd be cool to hear your thoughts. Edit: I watched your top 10 from last year and you said what you think of the Saw series. I love the labyrinth of mind games, lessons, and presentation of humanity at it's highs and lows. I personally don't think it's torture porn but if the traps are what sticks with you the most, I can see why you would think that. I just think the underlying story and how so much was connected (albeit sometimes retroactively) was really entertaining. I think they're really smart horror movies.

I think the movie where SysTom gets taken by the Eli Reaper at the end is my favorite. I forgot the name tho
