Haha thank you!! And yeah I threw in lots of subtle details like random memes and even matching gameplay as closely possible. ATSOL isn't copyrighted so I know the holes aren't caused by that, but when I was young I always assumed it was a copyright workaround so I decided to roll with it lol Also fun fact, some random russian kid copyrighted the Utopia practice song so I couldn't use it in the video, we contacted him and scared him into taking it down but it's still registered in YT's copyright database :(

commenting on main just to point out that i found this video really interesting to work on because it made me aware of all the weird changes and developments this community has gone through when i was gathering footage from spaceuk, i found that his firework completion had no win sound and his run of the golden had weird audio. both of these were highlighted in the video! but i just find that SO interesting, because 7 years ago that would have been a HUGE red flag, but nowadays we don't care about those things anymore. i was also especially interested by the recent rise in botted showcases of levels - and how if they surfaced in 1.9 i don't think a single player would have even noticed that it's not legit. just some random 2am thoughts ok bye. funny how the community has evolved

This video just put the past 8 years I've spent in the community into perspective. It's such a good take on the original. I like how it starts as a note-for-note retelling, before shifting into a new mold, while also continuing to follows the notes of the original as they apply here. This is more clever than it has any right to be. -but you forgot to reference the video annotation that gave away the cheating method early on, 0/10 unwatchable recreation-

nice! Only issue is the audio which can at times be too loud and therefore sounding distorted. It’s a common issue with premiere where sounds randomly bass boost sometimes, so playing it back then adding key frames where it randomly starts bass boosting is a good workaround.

This feels like the gd youtube equivalent of Resident evil 2 remake. It's basically have the same plot but has some differences that made it unique.

this is really funny, although it was missing the one (important) thing that the original video got right, which was the orbs pulsing faster when gd was slowed down then sped back up. Thats how Noobas was exposed

For anyone who doesnt know: space did hack and he even confessed it. This was found out after someone on the demon list was looking over completions and heard the clicks not line up.

funniest fact is that themutetroll used these effects in his video, he was so ahead of its time, that he used 2.2 effects in 2015

This is why people who create GD hacks often have some form of recognition in the video that only they and the verifiers know about. This is how spaceuk got caught, there is a very subtle watermark... hopefully GD moderators will enforce this more in hacks so that the game can become a lot more clean...
