A couple of things of note for this video: 1) To all aspiring content creators...do not edit when you're sleepy. Completely messed up title cards as I was going through everything. Math was bad, forgot to update in certain areas: Overall value for everything is actually $48.37 as of June 5th, 2023. 2) Got a tracking number and delivery sent within 24 hours from when I contacted customer service. This sucked, but they should be recognized for their amazing CS and that it got turned around and sent to me in under a day.

I was questioning the math but was being the ass and assumed you did it right or was recalculating for the goofed up cart. I hate editing when tired, I end up doing it a lot and I get Cranky. I use google sheets though to make sure my math is right cause as my college kid who is majoring in math would say(not really but I wish he would), Math is hard! Either way, you have another cart as well probably somewhere between 5-15 so you have something else to play.

That’s the joy of subscription boxes-games you wouldn’t have otherwise tried that surprise you.

Definitely! From an investment perspective, every box is a lottery - sometimes you win big, sometimes you don't win at all - but there's always something fun to play. :)

That is the weirdest spot for goo I have seen in a while for a cart, all I could think of was “how?”

I used to run into this a bit when I was in Florida. If the game is sitting in a really humid environment for a while, moisture gets trapped further up in the cart and causes that metal shield to oxidize. I bet this one was in a garage somewhere for a few years. 😅

Dakar 2 getting some love at last!!

Not a bad month gameplay wise. Of course NBA Jam for me! I also never played that racing game as the Rallisport Challenge rally games had my attention during that timeframe. I have never played the NES game but I have played Super Star Soldier on the Wii U Virtual Console. It's a fun retro shmup. It's a bummer about the N64 cart but it sounds like they took care of it for you. Happy gaming Jay!

Thanks, Kyle! Yeah, they're good folks over at VGM. I've had nothing but good experiences with them and the fact that they're so willing to own any issues that come up and take care of their customer base speaks volumes to me.

You got some solid titles in this box Jay. Desert Demolition was my favorite of the bunch! Too bad Namco Museum didn’t work. I am sure they took care of you. Any issues I ever had they always did right by me with a replacement. Never played Dakar before. Sounds pretty fun. 🍻🤙🏻

There some newer Dakar games today and they are still pretty dang fun.

There are hacks of NBA jam for SNES and I think genesis that add legendary players like Michael Jordan and Shaq in the games.

I think there are a lot of racing games out there that are better than you'd expect. Cool find for you. Ill check it out if i come across it!

Honestly Dakar 2 looks legit. I would yotally play that. Im so happy they are sending you out a working copy of Namco. That speaks volumes about VGM.

My pick of the box would be Star Solider. While it is not the most innovative shoot em up, it is still a shoot em up which holds a soft spot in my heart. Sucks about Namco Museum. I do not recall getting a game form them that did not work. Must have slipped through the cracks.

I love rally racing games. Dakar 2 seems up my alley. Hope they sent you something worthwhile to replace N Museum. My box was the best I have had this year and I didn’t receive a 1up for the first time in a while. Great video as always.👍👾📦

Another great VGM vid. Is the Dakar 2 game similar to RalliSport Challenge 1&2 on OG XBOX? If so I might have to pick it up as those have always been my favorite rally racers. Cheers.

It's VERY similar to RalliSport, which is my favorite Rally series! RalliSport is a bit more polished, but Dakar is no slouch!

Doesn't do anybody any good to get bent out of shape. :) I spent a loooooooong part of my life being negative and getting upset over what were ultimately insignificant things and I know that stress and anger took years off my life. They're good people at VGM, and they've always been quick to help out when there's a problem. I don't want to NOT show the negative side of things - I think it was important to show the condition of the game, for instance - but the fact that they so quickly stepped up and corrected the error should be celebrated. :) Thank you for watching, my friend!

From a play-ability perspective I think you did pretty good this month once you get the Namcomuseum replaced. I would be happy to play the Looney Tunes game and Star Solider. The biggest surprise for me is that I am interested in trying Konomic Sports in Seoul.

Too bad about the N64 cart but as you said and as I know, VGM will make it right. Yeah, I've played that GAMECUBE game before and it's a nice surprise how decent it is.

Liking the cap! Wiley as the bad guy... I dunno. I think he is just doing what comes naturally. lol NBA Jam is always a nice game to play even if you don't care for watching basketball. The arcade style is great. Namco Muesum had water damage? Dakar 2 is surprising indeed.

Star Soldier is a solid enough title; nothing special but fair enough to have in a collection. Track & Field II--ALL the tracks and ALL the fields! lol Hmmm, otherwise I pass on Looney Tunes stuff and NBA Jam is overrated in my book--but I just don't enjoy sports titles, no matter how arcadey they can be; I DO adore the love it gets though and how excited and nostalgic gamers get for it; that's a lot of fun to see, that energy.

What were they doing… dipping their N64 cart in a giant coffee mug on the show FRIENDS? Wow!😂 Donuts! Do donuts… not N64 carts! Geeez Louise!
