Am I the only one who thought Beast Boy not turning into a dragon to save Raven in spellbound was a missed opportunity? I’d even settle for it being a one time thing due to magic mumbo jumbo.

Apparently if teen Titans got another season it would have had blackfire as the main villain but the show was canceled before that could happen so that’s why it ended so anticlimacticly

I agree! X was probably one of my favorite episodes tbh. Great video!!

I knew Beast Boy would be your least favorite. Who's surprised. The Beast Within is one of the best episodes in the entire series.

Here's something funny about the Jinx and cyborg dynamic, it kind of makes cyborg look bad if you take into account the teen titans tie in comic. In the comic, Cyborg actually has a girlfriend...who he dates throughout the entire show...even during the time he went undercover. So this means cyborg was going on a date with Jinx....while he was in a relationship with someone already. Mind you, none of this was required to go undercover and is implied that cyborg wanted this. He is even told to knock it off by Robin. It even results in his girlfriends breaking up with him when Jinx crashes their date out of jealousy.

I don’t think that Cyborg is dating Sarah Simms in the show, as they named the warrior from the past “Sarasim” as an homage.

@@AmpleSamuel it depends on whether you considered the comics canon, since on one hand it takes creative liberties…on the other hand it’s intersected with titans canon lots of time

This arc could've been great had they given Jinx a bigger role and made the Cyborg-Jinx interactions a bigger deal.

The Hive only being in one episode (minus Gizmo) in a season about the Hive President is definitely underwhelming

@@AmpleSamuel indeed so. Jinx especially had so much potential. Cyborg/Jinx would be a cross between Batman/Catwoman and Romeo/Juliet. Each of them would have an authoritative force in their way: Robin for Cyborg and Jinx for Brother Blood. How would the other Titans (and HIVE students) react? Gizmo could learn to put aside his hatred for Cyborg if it means his squadron leader got to be happy. We'd be able to get an inside look at how Blood oppresses and abuses his students. I believe the HIVE students (while not being good obviously) aren't truly evil. They don't want to take over the world or anything; they just like doing their own thing, much like Red X. Another thing: "Deception" implies that Brother Blood wasn't always the Headmaster, as the Headmistress from "Final Exam" is reported as missing on a milk carton. I theorize that before Blood's takeover, the HIVE was about teaching gifted individuals to use their gifts for their own gains. The Headmistress was a classic Stern Teacher: tough, but fair and ultimately caring for her students' well-being. Blood, on the other hand, seems like he only cares about what his students can offer him.

that’s certainly possible, and maybe what they were going for. However, the lack of a breaking point for Star to illustrate that point is frustrating.

@AmpleSamuel Yeah, I get what you mean. I think they were trying to kind of use her kind nature as an explanation (her not wanting her friends to worry about her, her wanting to save her planet) but it would have been nice for them to show a bit more of why she acted that way.

season 3 was the worst season in the series in my opinion. Still good though.

This is the weakest in terms of story but a few stand alone episodes are amazing!

P.S. Glurdle Skletch is pronounced with a exhale at the end. Glurdle Skletch Hhhh. Its a subtle thing, but always there.

The messgae thar raven give in bateoth about it being her cutlture and who are we to question it is nice. I feel been nuce if saw more of tamaran and the people there an episode teen titans go whrte they visiit and shows more of the planet.

This is probably my least favorite out of the five seasons of this show. Other than The Beast Within, Haunted and Red X episodes, the rest of the episodes of the season were unmemorable and don’t really stand out. They could’ve had a better story for Cyborg.

This season is definitely isn’t as strong as the first two story-wise. But it did has some strong stand alone episodes like X and haunted which the latter was regarded as the best of the series according by many fans of the series. Overall, I felt like season 3 while the weakest, is a pretty good season. I mean it still has some funny moments, well choreographed action scenes, and the characters are still likable. But the story integrity of the season itself was just lackluster and the brother blood villian wasn’t that interesting either.

How is the interaction between Raven and Beast Boy forced? You try so hard to sound like an intellectual reviewer but all your videos are mere garbage. If I was a writer I wouldn't take what you say into consideration in the slightest.

Alright, I agree that just leaving it at “forced but sweet” was probably a bit too vague. I believe it’s forced because of the theme of control. The scene begins with Raven saying it wasn’t BB’s fault because he didn’t have control. However, the scene ends with Raven telling him that his control over his powers, which he lost during this episode, is what makes him a Man. This and the slightly awkward “he made you an antidote” is why I called the scene forced.
