My head canon is Rick C-137 crashed into Prime Beth's house in a fit of drunken rage, intent on killing Prime's family. But when he saw Beth, couldn't bring himself to do it, realizing on a certain level they're both victims of Rick Prime. He didn't intend on staying but found himself going back often.

Maybe he was going to kill them, but then decided he could stay instead, and wait for Rick Prime to return, and when he didn't, during Rick Potion #9, Rick C-137 decided to just abandon the prime universe, realizing Rick Prime was never going back.

it literally says in the show and in clips in this video that rick showed up looking for rick and stayed hoping that hed show up, he would have no reason to kill prime ricks family because theyve done nothing and its long after any immediate rage defused, he already stopped killing ricks why would he kill a beth and morty

Dude this explanation was even more confusing than the show!! 😂

Imagine Rick created the central finite because he wanted to make sure that every universe he went to is a universe where Rick is the smartest since Rick prime is the smartest person in his universe. Which means that he forced Rick prime to get stuck within the central finite but when Rick prime tried to escape he got stuck which is why Rick wasn't able to find him all this time

I thought the Evil Morty storyline was absolutely bonkers and I can't wait to see where they're gonna take him. Revealing that the entire show and all of it's occupants are trapped in a carefully constructed reality where the only universe they exist in are ones where Rick is the smartest is such an insane idea. I can only imagine what universes where he isn't the smartest look like. Will we see a new "smartest man in the universe" where Morty goes?

I think Evil Morty is a Morty, who got way more intelligence than the "Prime Morty" that we know, hence he is such a brilliant schemer. He probably got way more genetic intelligence from Rick via Beth. So since he left the finite curve and probably became the smartes being in one of the outside-curve-universes, I think it is possible that he will return to fight and kill Rick for good. Though it would be interesting to know Evil Morty's Origin Story.

Whether for fun or actual character development, it’s better than how the MCU likes to spit stuff out and then forgetting about it a week later.

One thing i disagree with is that C-137 made froopyland before creating portal tech. His version of Beth didn't get a chance to be a neighborhood menace, while the other Rick's in the multiverse, namely Prime, did have to make Froopyland after creating or gaining portal tech

There are only TWO Ricks who really invented Portal Travel. Rick Prime and "Our" Rick. All the other Ricks are multiversions of the Rick AFTER this Event. This is something that leads to so much confusion but makes sense if you think about it.

Well technically, the original dimension, where "our" Morty is from, is the Prime Dimension, since his grandfather from his dimension is called "Prime Rick" and killed the family of the Rick we know for whatever reason. So our Protagonist Rick is probably really Rick C-137 and from the dimension of that designation, but Morty is definitely not really Morty C-137, Morty C-137 for that matter never existed. The dimension they switch too after turning Prime Earth into Cronenberg Earth is unknown, but apparently bonding with Bird Person and other Freedom Fighters/Rebels/Terrorists (The Ricks on the Citadel called themselves like that) is somewhat of a constant across some of the universes. Morty just calls himself "Morty C-137" since he doesn't know better at the time. PS: I totally forgot about Rick switching Bodies on several occassions, either against Toxic Rick or when he breaks out of federal prison. So basically, only the mind of Rick C-137 is alive, his body is definitely not from dimension C-137.

pretty sure the body part isnt that important, its basically the question: If a ship gets repaired to the point where every single part of it has been replaced, is it a new ship? In rick's case, yes, obviously because his mind doesnt change, but for him its a daily thing to switch bodies: Project Phoenix, Disintegrating like Obi Wan, Toxified body etc.

How they deal with switching realities though, especially the recent parmesan one suggests that almost everything can be identical to the reality they left. This makes me wonder if switching from the squirrel dimension led to a new dimension where that rick and Morty also accidentally swapped Jerrys.

It was confirmed by adult swim that our rick and morty switch their jerry for that other jerry by accident

So when Rick and Morty replace universes, does that replace the entire universe or just Earth? When they begin hopping universes I can see how Earth is relatively the same in some instances but does that mean that space is out the picture? When they travel through space is it unaffected by their universe hopping? I mean if they’re changing *entire* universes then shouldn’t, say, the galactic federation or at the least small planets be slightly or even drastically changing? Are these things just outside of time?

I understand rick and morty is weird to show in a timeline, but could you keep it clear? We know from season 6 Jerryboree did swap the correct Jerry for another, and we also know Rick Prime's dimension IS the Kronenberg, since C-137 Rick's is just frozen in time.

Okay idk who’s gunna see this but let me tell you, I understand depression I feel that me and Dan had this connection and I can say without a doubt that the original ending if there ever woulda been one is the version of Rick that Rick is looking for is himself. Time can move at different rates on different planets. With every trip to a different universe the planet visited could meet those needs. (Ie Tsunami planet in Interstellar).

I watched Rick mix up the Beth's and the original one stayed on the planet. I don't think Rick noticed that though .

Did evil Rick kill his Jerry in the kronenburg world

it would make more sense that rick got the wrong Jerry bc in an episode where they got sent back to their original universes Jerry was sent back too not just Rick and Morty

Something doesn't add up... Rick, the Rick we follow, made Froopy Land for Beth. The Rick we follow lost his Beth before he discovered portal travel. Which he would have needed to make Froopy Land. So, are the Froopy Land Rick/Beth not "our" rick and beth?

How's that? Beth died in C137 when Rick Prime killed her & Diane in the garage. Isn't our Morty from Rick Prime's dimension (which we dont have the # for)?

Ok. I understand Rick needs someone's brainwaves that almost completely camouflage his own but why not Jerry's? He's worse that Morty?? 🤔

I doubt evil Morty is out of the equation now because he also got sent back to his original dimension and the rift is closed soo.
