Every Engine in Motorcycles Explained | Wankel, Radial, Turbine and more [Part - 2]
In this video, we are discussing square-engine motorcycles, 12-cylinder, 48-cylinder, rotary engines, upside-down engine motorcycles,s and more, so keep watching.
This is the second video of “every engine in the bike" if you haven’t watched that video, you can check it here: • Every Engine in Motorc...
SPLIT SINGLE ENGINE:
In internal combustion engines, a split-single design is a type of two-stroke where two cylinders share a single combustion chamber. Most split-single engines use a single combustion chamber that is two cylinders. However, some engines use two combustion chambers that are four cylinders or more.
SQUARE FOUR:
The Square Four is a motorcycle produced by Ariel between 1931 and 1959, designed by Edward Turner, who devised the Square Four engine in 1928. The one-piece iron cylinder block had all four cylinders arranged in a square pattern with a one-piece removable cylinder head. It was all fed by a single SU MC2 carburetor, and each bank of cylinders (left and right) shared a common exhaust manifold exiting with one pipe per side.
H FOUR ENGINE:
An H engine is a piston engine containing two separate flat engines with a separate crankshaft, most often geared to a common output shaft. The name "H engine" is due to the engine blocks resembling the letter "H" when viewed from the front.
V12 CYLINDER ENGINE BIKE:
A V12 engine is a twelve-cylinder piston engine where two banks of six cylinders are arranged in a V configuration around a common crankshaft. Each bank of a V12 engine essentially functions as a straight-six engine, which by itself has perfect primary and secondary engine balance.
48-CYLINDER ENGINE:
Simon Whitlock, the famous motorcycling madman, has surprised the world by creating an unbelievable 48-cylinder Kawasaki bike. This insane bike is definitely beyond every bike enthusiast’s wildest imagination.
THE FORCED-ENGINE MOTORCYCLES:
Forced induction in motorcycles is the application of forced induction, such as turbochargers or superchargers, to a motorcycle engine. Unique automotive engineering and human factors considerations are needed for applying forced induction with motorcycles.
DIESEL ENGINE BIKES:
A diesel motorcycle is a motorcycle with a diesel engine. Only minimal numbers of diesel-engined motorcycles have ever been built. The improved fuel efficiency is offset by the increased weight, reduced acceleration, and potential difficulty starting, at least in colder climates.

Very beautiful coverage. Excellent history of high end motor cycles
That 48 cylinder sounds like a 150cc chainsaw 🤣

I think that was the pony engine revving up to start the main engine. Not sure though the sound was kind of muddled.
Most of these engine types are basically just "what if". Straight up insane. We truly are stood at the shoulder of giants.
first and btw I LOVED THE SOUND OF THE 4 H 😍

In part I, many complained about the OP using the wrong picture while speaking. I didn't double check. Instead, I clicked on part II. Around 9.57, I get that unpleasant feeling. At 10.47, I pause the video so I can comment. I so wished I hadn't to.
What bout the ATC 3 wheeler engines ??
Missing the Kawasaki Z2300 V12 from Allen Millyard
