Definitely agree with you. Don't have to throw Americans in there. All of our styles are adopted, and as deluded as we are. But I dig the way early Irishmen fought.. chin tucked, head way back (gotta protect the dome as much as you can), with a high guard, palms in, knuckles out. I swear to you, when you can generate enough torque from your rear leg, while keeping the lead leg planted, and having good rotation.. That's the most powerful punch if done correctly. I don't know if you like Mike Tyson, but this is what Cus taught. I don't believe there was ever a better mind in the art of boxing..

@@goodguyaus This is precisely how I coach. Fighting is a sport of individuality. You and another man in a ring. You must be honest with yourself and be comfortable fighting how YOU fight. Everyone is different. I hate seeing/going to muay thai gyms or boxing gyms seeing everyone stand, throw, and move the same. I just call those cardio classes for cans who like to hear themselves rattle. FIGHT HOW YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT.

Forearm smash, that's called Framing, my friend. Another way for head control and close quarter distance control. Very typical in every combat sports that involves the use of arms. It's not dirty at all.

@@johnmichaelcanares2633 yeah,I knew that now,but ig forearm smash still ain't good tbh,I'm prob gonna look at Mayweather's fight to see it more and did the forearm connect.
I dont think holding with one hand and throwing body shots with the other should be illegal. If you go back to the days of jack johnson it was common. It made it harder for the "runners" who work to turn boxing from fighting into a game of tag.

dirty tactic: punch your opponent - he definetly does not expect that

It's doesn't say it's illegal it just say dirty technique
I ripped open a guys toe with the toe stomp on accident lol
I am a wrestler and MMA fan, could some explain why some of these are dirty. 2. punch into clinch, if your not against the ropes why can't you just move back and then land a punch. If you are against the ropes why can't you punch in the clinch if it is loose as the video goes on to suggest. 3. smothering, why is grappling to reduce stamina considered dirty when the only other reason most clinches happen is timidity. It just feels like clinches should be illegal because that is the entire point of grappling. 4.body shots in the clinch, if the point of the sport is to punch people and you allow clinches to happen why can't you punch people in a clinch. 6. head control, if you allow for some form of grappling why not have grappling so you can punch people more. 7. jab to the forehead, why should this be frowned upon, you giving up damage and causing some to your self for the benefit of disorientation, it's not like your elbowing someone. 8. Eye poke, how do you even eye poke in a boxing glove with out it just being a punch to the eye. 13. holding the arms of your opponent, isn't this the main use for clinching. If you can't punch, grapple, or use it as a defense what is the point of clinching.
1:48 who are those boxers ?
aiming for the forehead isn't dirty at all lol, you're blocking their vision so you can get your next shot in
The problem with this is that the rules are not uniformly applied. You have biased refs. These techniques are all legal in MMA or Muay Thai so at least it's fair.
