a common thing I have seen with a lot of people including myself was that they had the skill and technique needed but didn't have that willingness to use their skills to properly be aggressive/assertive over their opponent in the ring.

same bruh i feel "shy" in the ring for some reason, i think it's partly because of how fighting is something that i think brings out your truest form, and so it reveals that you have the skill but you don't have the will, maybe something happened during our younger times that destroyed our self-esteem made us feel as though we aren't worthy of respect or aren't worthy of being assertive and pursuing what we want, maybe because of a certain event/s in the past- it made us think that we aren't good enough, and that shows inside the ring, this is why imo fighting has way more benefits than just the physical prowess of being capable of physical danger, it also gives you the opportunity to face old (likely even invisible) demons that you don't even know that are holding you back from being your truest self. as for solutions, the only thing i can really think of is that you really have to just force yourself out there, the "do something" principle, yes it's going to feel uncomfortable, you'll likely feel arrogant or too cocky, and others may cement that belief, but remember that most people don't like change and that you can't trust your own mind in this aspect since you've lived in a state of insecurity and fear for so long, you can't trust your mind as the benchmark, that's not the standard, so go and do your thing and shine as bright as you can, don't mind those who get blinded.

Working the basics out will never leave you in despair, but the basic should never be taken as the only form! the back-foot weight, 90 degree rear foot angle, no pivoting on front foot. these are basics. they work and they make work. but the problem is, style makes fights. Nobody ever actually does it the right way, anthony joshua as an example, he swings, telegraphs, pivots on front, does it all wrong but still gets it right (sometimes)

11/10 intensity, Colossians 3:23-24 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Repent, the end might be sooner then you think.☦✝🗿.
