I had a yellow Lab. She was something special. Her intelligence blew me away. She was also the kindest most loving soul. I miss her everyday still. This woman is so blessed to have those Labs. To anyone considering adopting or taking in a Lab, it will probably be one of the best choices you'll ever make.

We got our 1st Corgi, Boomer, and she added 5 years of life to our deaf senior dog. She always made sure Bizket was taken care of. We lost our BooBoo a couple of months ago. They are in Heaven making the angels nervous now hehe

One of our dachshunds lost her hearing as she aged and one of the other two automatically stepped up to help her, slept next to her and made her feel safer. Dogs are amazing! They help and nurture without being asked.

So basically your service dog is doing double duty!! How cool is that!! My son has had a service dog since he was young. I taught them both in sign language because my son is nonverbal and we thought this worked best for us. Amazing how fast and easy a dog picks up signing. "Sit" & "stay" are two easy sings. Our cat even picked up "sit" from watching the dog!! Great story! Thanks for sharing
