UMG SC was great I played in it. My first Land Tourney and then Atl it was great back then.

To this day, I still wish Optic would've won either AW or Bo3 champs at least. they were very dominant in those games. Also, it's crazy to think what would've happened if they actually would have won Stage 1 playoffs in WW2. Would they still have won more together? Would they still do a roster change? Would Dashy still have had his chance on Optic? So many different outcomes we will never know..

That game competitively was so wack. Basically all online and not every team was at every event. Most players didn’t even seem that hype when they won

I was this started in AW just to really show how many grand finals and tournament wins optic got during the jet pack era. The dynasty was a dynasty for a reason.

For pre-cdl, anything that is Activision/CWL sanctioned would be considered a LAN. Any MLG/UMG & Pro League events automatically count. For invitationals, those with multi regions count. It is slightly varied as some events were EU amateurs only (e.g. 3 IW events) or vice versa. But most LAN events with big prize pools (at the respective time periods) count + MLG/UMG/Champs etc. CDL is all franchised so any major/MW home series & champs count. Comparing to CSGO, CoD champs would be the only "Major" of each year

So 5 majors this year?

Immortals bought OpTic when their parent company sold them. Hecz joined NRG to create huntsmen for MW. Immortals then sold OpTic back to Hecz before CW started and NRG renamed the cod team to OpTic Chicago. Then NRG wanted out, selling the spot which lead to Boston breach coming in. Envy bought OpTic then decided to merge/change the majority of their team assets to OpTic.
