FormaL at IW champs felt almost like a fever dream. I couldn't believe the shit I saw him do during the entire tourney and considering how difficult of a road it was to win.

Once i seen formal shoot lighting strikes out of the air in bo3 for the first time i knew bro was different.

You could legitimately give scump like 5 entries. That's how consistently amazing he's been at champs.

IW champs was insane to watch, Seth was nuts, karma was clutch, crim was doing his job, then formal just putting the best performance at any event of all time. Seeing the stuff that team was doing, especially formal was mind blowing

Scump could honestly have 5 entries to this. The guy always turns up at champs and has been costed so many times

That formal interception still one of my all time favorite plays. Man they had those envy boys in a choke hold

Swanny had the highest with a 1.39 in 18 maps played making him the highest. Aches was third and virtually ties with crim

clay may have had a better kd that year then scump but scump had a 1.2 with a SUB clay had a AR so thts why i think scump was better that season

Formal was different the intercept was the most hype shit I’ve ever seen clutch defensive plays

Champs FormaL was just on a different level

Didn’t really care for the jetpack games but Uplink had some the most hyped crowd moments.

Formal capping off that performance with the Control interception of a lifetime was so special. Assault being on this list is so weird.

Scump is the best champs performer of all time but formal had the best performance if that makes sense also imo if shotzzy woulda got champs mvp which he should’ve they gave it crim when shotzzy had a 1.1 and crim had a .98 he woulda had the greatest rookie season didn’t miss a gf reg season mvp won champs and then got robbed of the perfect season😢

No Aches? I know he's the "villain" of COD. He must've done something to the "favorites" of COD to get that distinction.

Scump would have 2 rings man if he just had help in AW :( he's still my goat though just because he's been way more consistent then anyone and the guys that have 3 rings were not good on his team consistently like he was or Formal. Yea in IW they did there thing but AW and other cods they did not. I still can't get over Karmas dumb ego chall v. Cloud9 when all he had too do was wait for Formals help, then it would've been an easy 2v1

If scump didn’t play with casuals his first few years he’d have another ring at least and like more 15 Major wins. For anyone who wasn’t watching bsck then scump was a literally god in competitive cod. Every search round was just looking for scump because if you killed him you normally won the round, every hardpoint was just nadeing scump so he couldnt sit in his areas. He was a 1 man army until he got some decent teammates

There's always a player getting overshadowed at champs when someone performs like this which is a shame. Like, apathy was phenomenal at WW2 champs but assault was just a tad better, and karma was INSANE at IW champs but formal was literally putting up the best performance in cod history so again he was overshadowed

I think the only thing I would switch on this list is Clay and Simp purely due how Denial went into champs. No one had them winning and they were essentially leftover players. Clay turned up so hard at that event. Plus the hit scan saug at the end of the game was incredibly broken. All the best players at champs were sub players in bo4. I also thought Aches from Ghosts should of been on this list or at the 11 spot. He was just as good if not better than Crim. 1.54 in Dom, 1.24 in snd, and a 1.14 in blitz, and virtually the same slayer rating as Crim. Also fun fact, Swanny had the highest KD at Ghosts champs with a 1.39 in 18 maps played 🔥 You guys should do the top 10 best performances at champs but the player did not win the event.

Denial was the second favorites behind optic. They had just lost to optic like twice in gf of previous events.

Back in the day I shit on FeaR Assassin while he was streaming (didn’t know cause I didn’t have a computer at the time) but apparently after the match he rage quit and his viewers was saying shit about me and even assassin about never seeing him get bested in a league play match against anyone this and that then he shut down his stream.. I never did run into him again on league play or any other pro players at the time unfortunately. (Edit: didn’t even know who he was I was thinking maybe a FeaR snipping team fanboy. My friend knew of him as a pro player I guess and went to see if it was actually him streaming and it was he said he was watching us in the match on slums hp then that’s when the rest went down)… 😅

Bo3 Scump champs should’ve been in this video. You could also add Bo2/Ghosts/Bo4/MW/CW

Ik everyone thinks that optic is the best dynasty ever but coL man. Optic was good bc they had arguably the 4 best slayers in the game. CoL was just exactly what u want a team to be. Everyone knowing their role. Not taking anything away from the optic faze and even nV dynasties tho. (Yes nV is a dynasty no one wanna talk about that tho)

Nv is not a dynasty wtf are you talking about. There are 2 dynasties col and optic. Col is better. Faze can be a dynasty if they win champs. Dynasties aren’t winning just champs. Champs is like the final piece that cements it. You have to have multiple event wins, be dominant over multiple years/games and the champs rings.

I don’t what happened but formal was a bot in Aw champs compared to his standard. Also think MW Scump champs is a honorable mention. Dude got costed by prestini who dropped a .5 against faze

Tbh all of Optic besides scump were bots at champs but it was weird seeing formal be that average. Denial and Faze kinda just smoked them.

After he got dropped from Envy after getting put onto the bitch role in Envy, that fire was burning harder than ever. i think it is the second best champs performance behind omm mmm Formal at IW.

????? Scump was arguably the best overall player during the IW season, with formal being the only other player you could put above him taking champs into account respectably. Karma was the 3rd best, with crim being the worst(like usual).

A lot of revisionist history goin on here. Denial team was the second best team with optic being the clear best team, they just had a 1st round match up against denial cause den lost a pool play match and was bottom seed, denial had a nice series against optic where optic played Detroit a bad map for them at the time. Clay was on fire that year and event.

@@zackt879 your faded CWL Paris ESWC 2017 scump edged Mvp from karma, then CWL Dallas open 2017 scump got mvp again even tho karma stepped up in the grand finals scump statically was better 🤷‍♂️ overall and most importantly Cod champs 2017 Karma was the 2nd best on the team no doubt its just Formal was an absolute beast, people were debating if karma should've won at least the Paris Mvp on reddit back then

@Jason Armstrong the best team wins champs all the players have said this for years doesn't matter unless you get the ring, OpTic was the best team overall but sadly they didn't win the chip so their year was ruined but then they added Enable as a sub and were disgusting and then the Goat Karma and were god like winning 3 out of 6 of the next events only coming 2nd in the other 3 events they didn't win, that's 3 different incarnations of OpTic. We should judge them event to event and sadly scump and Formal was costed that Champs but still would not have beat Denial with Crim and Nadeshot sadly
