I think lag beating faze in Vanguard was the most impressive. No one expected that team to be top 6, let alone beat faze in the grand final.

If we count optics run (circa 2015-2018) as a dynasty wit one champs win and I think around 8 major championships. I’d say it’s stupid that fools don’t put the Cold War faze boys as one of the top three teams of all time . Col , optic , faze

The Col dynasty won 13, the CW faze had a hell of a run but the league is no where near what it should be to consider them a dynasty. If you consider Faze cw a dynasty then you gotta consider NYSL MW2 a dynasty

@@Daiwilldon’t think it’s a hot take to say the faze trio MW-current is a dynasty. Every other dynasty has included roster changes. Also looking strictly at event win totals is stupid. There’s 5-6 events a year in the CDL era. There was like 25 in AW.

If it somehow wasn’t for getting destroyed at champs Toronto might’ve had the best run in the cdl

That and the 0-4 come back by Minnesota in CW, there's a legit argument that they're the best CDL era team if they win those two, or like you said at the very least take MW2 champs

the core trio of faze being consistently top 4 in the cdl era is crazy. with the 2 being 2x world champions already anf they probably still have 5 years of cod. insanity

I am really getting a mad respect for FAZE team. I hated the team for their smugness and arrogance whenever I watched them play but seeing their pain of coming second after second in every event speaks about their character, their passion for the game and man I respect them for it

Vanguard was honestly the most painful season to be a faze fan along with every champs other than CW

MW19 was the most connected I’ve felt to the teams, maybe because of the pandemic and all the time I spent indoors keeping up with the scene. Cold War was probably the most fun game to play. Vanguard was the most fun to watch. Lets not talk about MWII lol

So if we add empire with all the OpTic Orgs (Huntsmen, Optic Texas) they have 8. Faze have 8. Ultra has 5. NY has 5. Thieves have 3. Miami/Fl has 3. Surge has 1. Guerrillas has 1. Boston, Ravens and Paris have 0? Or did I miscount.

Shit game and set up (not all teams were invited for every event) but at least there were games almost every weekend.
