Cameron is such a good instructor! Great advice, and lovely to see Addie learning and responding so quickly and going so nicely. She's such a bright little mare - she's going to be brilliant once she grows up and gets some experience and gets over her babyness.
Brilliant job Em! Huge improvement during the day. Sitting up after the jump, or as Cam put it, hips under you, gave you so much more control of the canter. Not chasing her into the fence was great advice too. You know she loves to jump, refusing is not in her nature (unless she didn't see the fence). So don't chase her, let Addie see the stride and boy oh boy, then her jump is epic. ❤
Oh Ems, you and Addie did such a good job and I loved Mandy's style of teaching. As you and Tona said she kept it basic and easy to remember in those split seconds you have to try and react. Addie looked so classy ❤
My god! That lady instructor was incredible!! Best I’ve seen you both jump as a pair! Well done!! 🥰❤️ xxx
That second instructor really got the measure of you and Addie, what a fantastic lesson! Lovely to see her being so complementary about Addie at the end too. Xx
How beautiful did that SJ turn out Emily, she looked a completely different horse and a seasoned pro when she listened to you👏

That was so cool to watch! 😄😜 She just kinda floats soaringly over the jumps!
Loved this blog😊 The instructors were fantastic very encouraging and positive Addie is a fantastic horse😊
That show jumping lesson looked absolutely fantastic!! What a difference🙌🏻
It was so helpful to see you adapt under Mandy’s instruction to not reacting to Addie’s fidgeting - I ride at a barn a lesson horse who is super sweet but hot and fidgety like Addie (although he’s older)!! I learned a lot from your vlog about how to deal with him. Be right in your own body and the pony will look after itself…
Well done Emily & Addy ❤ your a dream team, keep up the excellent work 😊🐴🐎xxx
Ahh this was such fun to watch, thank you so much for vloging it. I was smiling so much at the end. Addie looks fabulous and can I just say that I think you ride beautifully Emily. You are both such a super partnership ☺️
Awesome Vlog Emily. Well done. I lovely to see the highlights of training horses, friendship and FUN! X
Wow, what amazing progress you and Addie are making. Loved watching your lessons, very informative.
Sure Emily - you got on super well with that female instructor, her you and Cam = dream team!! Keep up the good work!
Oh gosh I love Cam!!! He's so right!!!! All the comments on your deflated vlog (mine included, i wish I hadn't made it) and he absolutely nailed it. I am training a super opinionated 4 year old mare with this advice, our progress is slower, but faster, our relationship is amazing!
Love watching these vlogs as I can take on board comments for my own riding lessons ☺️ the lessons were fab!
Holy cow, what an amazing session!!!! 😍😍😍 it’s amazing how seemingly small things make such a huge difference!! ❤️❤️❤️

Brillent ,really good blog, have a good day tomorroq.
Another viewer in Australia. Am on the train going to work.
Cam and Mandy are absolutely brilliant!! Watched Tina's last night and forgot to comment 😂 both videos, BOTH instructors, were enthralling!! You, Tina, and the ponies were awesome! How well and how quickly all of you picked up on things while maintaining what you've already learned was really cool to watch 😊 and a special mention to Addie for being such a good girl!! 😁🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wow! That was an amazing train day with two great instructors. Well done everyone.
Eeeeeeeek excited xx
You girls. Perfection rarely if ever exists. When it does it’s fleeting. So never aim for perfection as you’ll continually be miserable. Aim for the best in the moment. And Cam is so right. A Green youngster is going to humble you often. The trick is to be continually learning continually upbeat and positive. We learn most through the mistakes. Personally I think this young mare is super. Just enjoy her. You’re doing so well. And please call a coffin a coffin. That way I know what you’re talking about!
Oh, WOW. Addie is looking FABULOUS Emily!! It's been a while since I checked in on you two. Beautiful!
Fantastic Loved it a joy to watch
Wow really enjoyed that you did fantastic looking forward to the next time.
Really loved this vlog! you and Addie are epic
Really interesting to watch. Great lessons
"She is a (sometimes fire 🔥!) cracker", yes, she really is!! Beautiful Addie, becoming a "woman" 😁💖. Let that fire burn in her!! You did so well, Emily, trying to watch and learn from you. So nice to see you and Tina road trippin' again and hear you laugh together 💖💖👣👣. Thank you for the vlog, for your hard work💖. P.S. I think Tina brought the food and you brought the drinks 😅, Monster-YFood -brekkie!
Youve made amazing progress with Addie

Great video Em
Really strategic riding Em - I learn a ton from watching you with your greenie!
OMG you guys are amazing
Addie bold as ever. Looking strong in XC lesson. Show jumping.. Exciting and informative lesson for you. Well rode. Some smart decisions(SJ Box exercise on rt rein waiting to do downward trot transition away from corner she kept breaking inside box. Smart riding indeed! Keep up excellent work and believe her 3 takeaways will benefit you and Addie greatly 👍 well done ma’am 😊
Your SJ session was 👩🍳💋. It’s amazing how much ignoring Addie’s nonsense helped. Your riding is #goals. What great confirmation that Addie is on track to develop into quite a horse! This looks like such a great eventing camp!
That was great Emily Mandy is a fantastic trainer I’m really enjoying this training lesson. The bit she said when she is throwing her head up just Ignore her etc was great feed back and her tongue curling. Brilliant vlog and I cannot wait for the next one when Cameron rides will Mandy be riding too? What ever I can’t wait to see it.well done you.tfs😎🏇😎
She looked mega, especially in that SJ session (really like how Mandy teaches and really focuses on the positives!) you are doing such an amazing job with her

Epic show jumping Emily she's a rock star amazing potential I can't wait for the future eeekkk
💥❤🧡💛 Great job!!! I had a similar challenge with head shaking and the tongue over-the-bit and I tried the Nalanta Bridle by Jesse Drent and it's been a game changer. Fab exercises to work on! 💥❤🧡💛
You don't realize how good and capable you really are. Get over it and do what we know you can do! Go Emily!
