Watching this again two years later. I wanted to see how much Madeiros has improved in two years. @A. Eren Filiz No they are not, and that's the tricky thing. Blue are 45lbs which is 20,4kg bar is 45 too in the US but for these two let's say it's no big deal. Yellow are 35lbs = 15,9kg instead of 15, greens are 25lbs = 11,36kg instead of 10... Small whites are 10lbs, actually 1lbs less than 5kg... So in the end guessing the total weight precisely, from the plates's color, is an absolute clusterfuck for people who are using metric system, which is actually 95+% of the world.
As a strengthlifter (SOHP, Squat, deadlift) these numbers are pretty damn good considering their level of fatigue after previous events. Very impressive!

I'm gonna assume "SOPH" is 'Strict Overhead Press' srengthlifting is not strict at all lmao they allow a bounce before pressing. It's pretty much the old school Olympic Clean & Press but without the clean. If it was meant to be strict then Chase Lindsey wouldn't be able to do 405lbs 💀

The self is very strong in most of us; sleeping or waking, it is ever alert, always strengthening itself but when there is an awareness of the self and a realization that all its activities, however subtle, must always lead to conflict and pain, then the craving for certainty, for self-continuance comes to an end.
