LOL, gave me a good laugh at the antics with the cable, I've been there so many times myself. I usually put a 12V halogen bulb in series with the 12V to limit current as I don't have a fancy pants Chinesium PSU. If the light comes on I know I have a problem.

Thank you for this! Really helpful video series. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to de-pin the Zombie connector. I bought the version that comes wired with the "horse tail". Have tried all the pin tools I can find. Any advice or recommendations?

ha ha, there are two horizontal plastic pins, one above the metal pin and one below it, and yes you either need three arms to depin them or this tool Manufacturer: Aptiv (formerly Delphi) TTI Part Number: 210S048 Mfr Part Number: 210S048 Price: $65 which I found only works 50% of the time
