Prior to this tour, I had only seen Evanescence live once before (Atlanta 2019), although I have been a huge fan of the band and Amy in particular ever since they released their debut album back in 2003.
I actually fell in love with Muse that same year, so getting to see both bands play together each night was a dream come true for me... 20 years later! Evanescence absolutely killed it every night and Amy never failed to impress with her presence, beauty and incredible vocals. It was magical, and by far my favorite opener that I've seen (and probably will ever see) for Muse.
For MSG, I got to be close up and had a much better view of the band! This was filmed from the front row / barrier, right in front of Tim.

It's 2023, I'm 19, and I've loved this band since I was a little 9yo girl. After all of these years, I'm still listening to this track, and I enjoy every single line, and can't stop myself to not sing with Amy.

On my top 10 forever faves!! Since the first time I heard her I loved her! Plus my sis is a professional performance pianist & I write lyrics so we feel like we can relate to her. Yes, Synthesis is amazing, I love Speak to Me and am learning to play it now. My favourite is probably Lost in Paradise.

Darkness. A hole so deep that the noontime sun casts nary a ray of light. A darkness that penetrates the soul, the rotting away of the last will. One last effort left, maybe just enough to end the pain, the hardest step, the final crossing, something done alone and I'm left just so alone. So many regrets eat away, so many more regrets to come, I wish I had more and wish I could. The disappointment of history only perhaps outweighed by what the future doesn't hold. It guts me to think that there won't be another concert, another hug, another game. I wish I could have been there to walk my daughter down the aisle, to beam with pride as my son finds his place but I've made all the mistakes one life can take and I'm so far away. Words cannot describe how alone one can be, surrounded by phantoms of love, and the demons of hate. A swirling mess, electrons circling that will never touch my core. Above it all, the hate for myself hangs like the executioner's axe, the heavy steel of the guillotine blade and the gravity that sends it home. As if to kill but a simple formality, a final blow to a life that was lost so long ago. The fires smoldered and raged burning from the inside out until all that was left was a shell. A movement of flesh with little more control than the puppeteer moving the strings, no more alive than bits of wood and cloth. In the end, unremembered, forgotten and alone. A pit of despair and loneliness. My own personal hell. Not worth a tear or a sob, not worth a memory, not worth a care. I exit the stage with mo more notice than an unimportant prop, a bit of inconsequential decoration the absence of which goes as unnoticed as the pain that reduced me to this state does. I've lost all that I care about, all that I lived and loved and the loss is more than I can bear. I have no one to talk to, no hug, no one to confide in or to help me pull myself out of this spiral, a circling of the drain as the sorrow and loneliness flush my life into the ether. But I go willingly, I go knowing that of bad options and the weight my life sags on others that this is for the best, that it will release those that have been dragged down by the albatross I've been around their necks. Shed no tears, and leave no flowers above my unmarked grave. Scour me from your memories, edit me from your pictures and minds, as I never deserved a place amongst them.

I know we all get old, and I've aged like a methed out billy goat, but it hurts me a bit to see the chick rock stars try to keep their witchy or hot look, but do it with enough layers of material to make ballroom curtains. This outfit looks like she tore the lining out of Count Dracula's coffin. Great song though
