Adele “Someone Like You” LIVE at BST Hyde Park London 7/1/22
Adele makes her triumphant return to the stage in London at a sold out BST Hyde Park Festival 5 years after her last live show. She graced us with old and new, leaving not one dry eye in the 65k person crowd by the end of the 2-hour set. Truly a magical night that will be embedded in our memories forever. Thank you, Adele.

Or maybe....she just wants to fucking sing HER OWN song without a bunch of idiots who can't sing ruining the moment. This is exactly why Bob Dylan used to constantly change his songs....he got tired of competing with the fools in the crowd who think they can sing and aren't a part of the song. If the artist wanted an out-of-tune and out-of-time chorus on the song....THEY WOULD HAVE PUT ONE THERE. The moment when she tells the crowd to sing....THAT is when the crowd should sing. NOT when she is trying to sing HER SONG the way she recorded it and meant it to be. STFU, fools. AND PUT YOUR GODDAMN PHONES DOWN AND ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE LIFE AS IT HAPPENS....JUST FOR ONCE.

I would think she be all cried out by now, so it's just good showmanship. An example of this would be from the movie A Star is Born. Everyone thought Lady Gaga and Bradley were in love and dating. They eventually had to go public as people were going nuts over it and tell everyone it was part of the plan. It help sell the movie and the music. As a near 70-year-old, I grew up with the Beatles, so I've always been a "classic rock" guy and my wife says "You need to get out of the 1970's". So, in my search for new music, I discovered Adele. And I confess. This live version of "Someone Like You" gave me goosebumps. That voice. Just, Wow.

It’s not about “being able to hit the high note”. Adele doesn’t sing the chorus in the higher key because she always prefers the low key. From 2011 until now there have only been maybe about 10 or less times that she’s actually sang the chorus in the higher key (Carpool Karaoke, One Night Only, 2016 tour). Because it’s not actually that difficult by Adele’s standards but stylistically chooses not to. Around the time 21 came out I believe Adele or the co-writer/producer mentioned that they wanted to re-record the original song with a lower key and add strings but Adele never re-records the demos of her lead vocals.

Adele - Someone Like You (Lyrics) I heard that you're settled down That you found a girl and you're married now I heard that your dreams came true Guess she gave you things, I didn't give to you Old friend, why are you so shy? Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it I had hoped you'd see my face And that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too "Don't forget me, " I beg I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" You know how the time flies Only yesterday was the time of our lives We were born and raised in a summer haze Bound by the surprise of our glory days I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it I had hoped you'd see my face And that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too "Don't forget me, " I begged I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" Nothing compares, no worries or cares Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste? Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you "Don't forget me, " I beg I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too "Don't forget me, " I begged I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead" "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"

I disagree. Imo, music/artists are different, and it is cool to have that variety. Some bring top-quality music, and some also bring a visual show which can also be fun to watch. :D As long as they are not complete trash music-wise, but I guess that depends on the audience. xD

You don't know what you're talking about. Take your bias somewhere else, even Adele loves to enjoy a good hardcore dance routine and performance on stage. There are different feelings and different moments in life, sometimes you wanna enjoy a melodic sad moment while sometimes you just wanna get your hype up and shake that body.
Adele is one of those artists who you have to brace yourself for because she dredges up so many unexpected emotions and memories.

Every so often we get gifted with a truly amazing female singer. Adele is in a league of her own.
I love the filming of this.. very powerful seeing her face/beauty/passion...
Imagine that experience, the entire audience singing the lyrics that were so special to you when you wrote them
She got emotional when all those ppl started singing her song! They sounded Really Good, too!! That was Really Great!
Such an amazing voice, gives me chills
This song is so iconic for so many reasons, everyone can relate to having a broken heart. And I bet she never imagined that when she wrote the song from a broken-hearted place it would touch the world and change her life forever. Such a beautiful thing to come from tragedy
A real class performance. this woman owns the stage wit such grace! what a special moment when everyone started singing

And all she is doing is standing there singing ... That's Rare and it's special. Esp being the best human on top of it and funny... It isn't fair lol
Her voice ages like wine, just better over time.
When a few notes are enough, the whisper of the wind that caresses the trees in the background and a voice that cradles the soul to get excited, nothing else is needed, thanks Adele.
I love her ❤ even she's crying Is beautiful ❤
Someone like you is a memorable song. Even having won that difficult phase of life there will always be a moment of remembrance and this song is a trait of respect to a lesson that has been learned.
Whomever calls Adele a diva is on the wrong. She is beyond all of that she is now a true goddess. Her voice touches everybody that listen to her it fills you up with so many feelings it’s hard to describe. Love you Adele
What an amazing voice and a lovely genuine lady, fantastic.
Linda , maravilhosa interação com os fãs.
even the hardest of hearts can offer no defense against this emotional juggernaut of a performance... goosebumps from head to toe and complete surrender to this touchstone ballad. due credit to both Adele and also to the brilliant pianist for bringing me to tears.
