I love Amy Lee she is so beautiful and her voice is so pretty you know when some singers sing live they don't sound as good as when they sing on their album so when you hear a singer sing live and they sound just as beautiful as if they were singing on their album it just makes me love them just that much more!! She is so beautiful in every way! Keep those songs coming chic you are wonderful!😘💖😉

That's the beauty of music - emotion. This song becomes personal and she sings it even better than in 2004. (Being written by Ben about his grandfather). You can see that at most singers. If you look how Eddie Vedder was singing Black when it meant something for him. And then years it wasn't so emotionally performed as it used to be, but it became personal again when Chris Cornell died. It's just incredible how feelings are shown through music, sometimes unfortunately triggered by sad events than neither of us want to happen.

Lovely comment but I've recently read that it's a made up story inspired by some events Ben claimed to have experienced, not necessarily focused on his grandfather. I don't know which one is true but maybe, we all discover it someday.

Amy Lee and Chris Cornell are unquestionably the greatest vocalists of my generation.

That was probably one of the best performances of My Immortal, hands down. You could tell there was real emotion behind this. Like someone else commented, I have always loved My Immortal but after losing people along the way, it takes on a whole new meaning. God bless and thank you for sharing.

As Much as I love Amy Lee's Beautiful Voice and her Band Evanescence, I just Can't Listen to this song. I Listened to it for the Very First Time when i Bought Evanescence's Debut Album and i just broke down in tears, because it reminded me of my Mum who passed away 26 Years ago, (it was actually 19 Years ago at the time of when they released their Debut Album). I Still Can't listen to it even now, i have to skip it, or mute the volume whenever i hear it on the Radio.

I was disappointed because I thought Lindsey was there to backup Amy. This was the first time I saw the lead act play first. Lindsey played maybe 2 songs with Amy and then is was just Lindsey. Lindsey is good, but no instrument can match Amy’s voice.
