I was at one of the concerts her vocals were even better and there was a battle dance between the ballerinas it was amazing

It was probably a collaboration because Lindsey of course did Hi Lo on the Evanesce set and Lindsey Sterlings set Amy appears on stage. They announced they were going to appear in each other's sets before the tour began.

Actually, in an interview, Lindsay said their first choice for vocalist was unavailable at recording time due to maternity leave. Lzzy did a great job but was a second choice. The original choice? You just heard her.

The performance had me in almost tears because of how surreal it felt. OMG it was incredibly I cant even describe it

It's like Lindsey brought Amy back to life. She sings with such power and drive. And this performance really makes you want to live! Hope that they'll do something together on the next album of Evanescence .

I saw this live inSyracuse, even though we had lawn seats it was one of the greatest shows to see live. The video doesn't do the justice, but still gives me chills. And I'm a metal head. Growing up with amy lee and recently discovering Lindsey Stirling. It's amazing

Completley different than Lzzy version, this one is more calassical. But BOTH BEAUTIFUL

I love Amy Lee, and Lyndsay Stirling.

Not bad for a lady who was told her music and dancing fusions wouldn’t do well. This song combines electronic, a little tempo, dubstep, classical, rock, and dancing into a beautiful, heartfelt package. Those first three are said to bring down music quality wise, but the strength of those styles are beautifully used in this song. It just goes to show that it’s not the instrument that makes the music, it’s the artist. Even a saw in the right hands can sound like heaven.

Thank you for sharing such a great recording! I saw this show in New Orleans with the hubby and it was so amazing. Great to see it again. They were so good together and the live orchestras in each city was a huge undertaking.

AliB333 Practice :) lol! When I first grabbed a violin like two years ago I was lucky I didn’t drop it while sitting still...While I still have a long way to go my playing is coming along, working on her simplified version of underground, and can move a bit with the music..It’s really about timing the technical aspects of both the fine motor work and the gross motor work. What she is able to do demonstrates just how physically strong she is. There’s a lot of muscle packed into that tiny frame, but it is more than that. She has Passion and Spirit, and is a genuine person (I got to ask her a question during a meet and greet. I had been trying to teach myself how to play violin and was really struggling, knowing I’m also on the petite side I wondered if maybe I had the wrong size violin...nope she plays a full size violin because she’s “a full sized human being...” (comes out much cuter in person than text) That’s all I needed to push through my initial discomfort and do 😁. Make creating music a part of your life, it’s worth it!

to be honest this doesn't do the live performance justice, I know you don't have much options so I'm not going to dislike this video, thanks for uploading it anyways, I wish they'd release a studio version but it's unlikely considering Lindsey already has a "studio" version of the original.

If you never heard Lzzy do it LIVE, you would be impressed by Amy. Lzzy has such power to blow you away. It's the difference between the two ladies.

Both are impressive. Lzzy's is more aggressive and pained while Amy's is more heartbroken and sad sounding. I genuinely can't pick which one I prefer because I love both ladies and both of their renditions.

@@Kafurry Whitin Temptation is a good band but they have like 60 percent boring as fuck songs, and 40 are good whereas Evanescence is a more hard rock and upbeat headbanger hits in like 90% even their regular songs are kick ass songs and their ballads shine way more than WT ballads, WT needs to be like more energetic it gets boring live at times or if they don't play their singles, and lately their last album is off putting, Ev always very entertaining and Amy Lee's stamina and energy live makes you feel every lyric she sings, in despite of Sharon Den Adel whom is a better singer but doesn't connect the same way and she gets lost in a perfect pitch but almost no energy or power to express her lyrics or connect to the crowd the way Amy Lee does. In other words, sharon is a singer but not an entertainer and Amy is both.
