Welcome to the Pulse x Thrustmaster Freestyle Invitational Tournament. In case you missed the streams, we hosted the event live on the 25th and 26th of July through the pulserl and nrg_jzr Twitch channels. Watch 16 of the best mechanical players battle it out in some epic freestyle showmatches. We will post all the 16 showmatches in the coming weeks. Please dont spoil anything in the comments section, as some people might not have been able to watch the livestream!
This time Evample and Jayo have to battle it out while Pulse MK and NRG_JZR cast the Freestyle 1v1 match. Everyones favourite Rocket League KZread amustycow was so kind to be on as a guest and cast with them!

I love this because MK didn't know the plan b and other creative setups like it, and now they are the meta in the next invitational.

Forgive me if I sound ignorant af, but I thought musty was knowledgeable about the mechanics and terminology freestylers have coined and used. To me, it just sounded like he isn’t used to casting matches so the way he talked sounded awkward.

tbh JOYO was better in my opinion. He tried harder shots than Evample. The best shot was the turtle to flipreset to musty.
I think the ground plays are honestly more impressive than a lot of the double reset/backboard plays, they're so much more unique

I like evample's control obviously but i think its to repetetive. It is either flip resets or ground dribles. This is why i got fed up of watching his vids. I prefer Joyos playstyle which is more like Jakze's or Muirie's, more creative and clean

you clearly have pretty good mechanics but the difference is, these guy's shots are way more fluid than yours and they're usually scored against high mmr players
