My wife and I have flown EVA about 50 round trips SGN to New York since 1996. Reached diamond level status one or two years but now retired have been demoted through the ranks given less frequent and lower class travel. Always polite and efficient. We used to stop over on the TPE New York leg at Anchorage and then Seattle and then for the past 10 years give or take the TPE to NY has been direct. The earlier flights were to Newark but now to JFK which is a bit less convenient but they provide a free bus to New Jersey. Over the years we got stuck in TPE because of typhoon once and fog on another occasion. Put us up at a nice hotel. When I flew business... we did not yet have the flat bed seats and frankly people these days are so lucky. Business class used to be upstairs on the 747s. I would crawl to the floor and find a way to stretch out in flat position which felt more comfortable on the floor then in the chair pitched. The direct flights bring you way up north and on one trip back from NY we were once less than 50 miles from the north pole. We are now in SGN and not sure at all if we will be able to make a trip to NYC this year.

We have flown EVA on our last trip to the UK from Australia, we flew business class... We will never fly less than that again... The whole experience was awesome, and our cabin staff remembered us on our return flights 6 weeks later... We will fly them again for sure

I never heard of EVA Air until December 2018 when it was out flight operator for our Trip to Thailand. It is now my favourite Airline. Outstanding service, comfy seats and a wide variety of in-flight entertainment and as flight meals go - 9/10. I want to get on another EVA flight as quickly as possible.

My father was an aircraft mechanic and died in 1995. If he were alive he would love these videos.

In these trying times your videos are a form of escapism from our current situation to the Liberty we had.It gives us hope that we will be able to do these again once it's over.

I've flown EVA from LAX to TPE many times. I'm also a relatively frequent flyer of other airlines. EVA is one of the best airlines I've ever flown. Exceptional even in the cheap seats.

One of the best business class experience. I really love their traditional breakfast and pyjamas. I still use it on other flights and at home

Nobody serves better champagne on business class than EVA Air, as simple as that!

I flew Houston to Paris, First Class on Air France about a year ago. They served Veuve Clicquot Grande Dame, but only up front. Very nice!

Omg what an amazing first meal. An appetizer, soup and salad before the main course! Never seen that much to start on any airline. And all served separately. Amazing. Gotta try Eva someday!

Make sure you take either a lunch or dinner flight (afternoon or early evening) if you want to experience this much food. For late night departures, EVA offers an abbreviated supper service with just appetizer, main course and dessert/fruit.

This is my new favourite airline! I wish I could fly everywhere in the world with them. Amazing airline, flight attendants and service all around was amazing. I can't wait to fly again and hopefully soon, I'll get to experience business class. Keep posting these videos. It really gets me excited for when the skies are well and truly open for all travel.

Thank you for the video. The part which I find most amazing is the view outside. I'm always amazed at the view of the earth whenever I fly. The world looks majestic, beautiful, and peaceful from 30k ft. I've flown doha-houston several times and the view on the video reminds me of those trips.

It is the first time I hear about EVA air in detail (I heard about it in short fragments before). I admit this video is very impressive, to sat the least. I think that European and American airlines (like Air Canada, Delta, Air France etc.) have some things to learn from Asian airlines. I found EVA very impressive. And I did not even mention their virgin safety record! Absolutely excellent video! Hats off the Luxury Travel Expert!

Never flew on Eva air. Used Singapore and loved it to Vietnam, Philippines , Thailand and China. For European trips Turkish. Never US airlines or air French. US domestic only Alaska. Going to Vietnam in March '23 and booking on Eva air.

Yes, ive flown EVA air from TPE to LAX and they served 4 GREAT meals in economy! It was the best flight i've ever had, better than Lufthansa.

I hear music and I can paint it with light, so when I listen to your scores, i see light and pay attention to rhythm, crescendo decrescendo. You always hit the right notes and timing. With the right music, that enhances the video we are watching.

I’ve flown with EVA a couple of times. Overall I think it has the best business class experience of the Star Alliance airlines. Singapore Airlines had a better seat but the service and food on EVA is much better. If this corona virus pandemic eases I am booked to fly with them next year. I’m looking forward to it.

Yes. I flew EVA from SFO-TPE-MNL and then returned MNL-TPE-SFO. The flight home was with my infant son, so I used the bassinet seat. Absolutely loved flying with EVA. Friendly, attentive, professional service. Good food. Easy transfers in TPE. Would absolutely use them again next trip to Asia. Highly recommend EVA!

i really have the feeling to be inside of the plane, thx to make us travelling without boring comments or try to make the clown. We can enjoy this amazing landscapes adn flight together like if we were there

I have fly a lot for work, but EVAAIR is real the best in the world.

This is one of my favorite airlines, as I typically fly EVA royal laurel class from LAX to Taiwan almost every year. Although the seats are smaller when compared to Singapore airlines, it is very comfortable and convenient. I found the cabin staff to be very friendly as well. I love being able to order a good variety of food 1-2 weeks prior to departure. Thank you for sharing your experience.

At age 65 this is my first time in Business class, a treat I have promised myself for many years! 75 days in Thailand, unless I feel like more, and booked for returning in Premium Economy. Appreciate your video. Very well done. I've flown EVA Air since 1998 and on average go to Thailand 2-3 times a year. 2020 so far is a bad year due to the virus, but looking forward to when I can fly again.

I fly a lot, but I have very good time, with EVA AIR most always.

I flew the same route last month, the food was on a par-if not better than Thai first class, simply superb. The staff were brilliant as well. Eva are so much better than Thai, best business flight I’ve ever had, now my choice to fly with in the future.

Have flown with Eva Air few times. Very impressed with their service.

Eva Air will definitely be the flight when I go back to Taipei next time, thank you for the video!

Quite a "strange" safety video from my point of view !! Great take off views and sound !! I was salivating at the menu !! Magnificent !! Love a good cheese platter...!! And a glass of Red to go with it !! I also love watching the moving map !! Crossing over places I have never heard of !! And stunning scenery as well...best in flight entertainment of all !! Almost a First Class flight !! EVA WERE doing some seasonal flights to Australia but of course like everything else that has stopped.Always wanted to fly with them in Business Class....that will not be happening for a while sadly. Great flight and review as always and take care in this most troubling of times !!

Flew with them in the mid-90s, Evergreen Deluxe, downstairs in the nose on the B747. It was fantastic! EWR-ANC-TPE-BKK. Repeat.

Liked the clean lines and décor of the cabin. Good to see a new report as I have, along with most people in Europe (with the exception of Sweden) been indoors now for the past few weeks and watching this made me feel like I was travelling again. Apologies for my comment last week regarding the quality of your video. I was not aware that KZread had agreed to reduce the quality of their steaming for a month. It's not so noticeable on a pc or phone, but If you watch it on a large screen tv there is a noticeable reduction in quality on all KZread videos. Keep Safe!

Great video I been flying Eva airline for many years looking forward to flying back with them in October 2022 to BKK after all the covid-19 restrictions are lifted by then Eva airline is without question is one of the best royal business class experiences going to Asia from the US

I have flown with Eva many times in business class. 1st of all I will say it is one of the best flight experiences I have had. Your blog is great and does it justice. Flying out of London there isnt a lounge and they try to send you to Canada air lounge, however Singapore lounge is next door and far better (as part of star alliance either can be used) Not sure when my next trip is but hopefully soon when its safe again.

Looking forward to next week😀. Croatia is a dream destination of mine.

My first trip with EVA was on August 2017. JFK to Taipei, Premium Economy. Love the service and attentiveness of the Flight Attendances. Worth the price.

I've flown Eva air about 7 times absolutely fantastic air line better than Thai airways by a Long way, but unfortunately only economy but may be one day that's when my boat comes in I'll fly club class!!!

wow, great video as always. I enjoyed the view out the window, amazing. I flew with Delta One to the US March 6th. and the service was great but the seats had no storage space what so ever, so my purse, pillow and comforter were laying on the floor where the feet went. Not so good, we also did not receive a hot towel. I flew over to the US to take a cruise with my son and grandkids, at the cruise terminal we were turned back because I had just gotten to the US 2 days befor and I came from Germany. The Hotel in Orlando got closed also, so I returned after only 2 weeks. I took some great video over snow covered Iceland (Reykjavik) but the video ended up sideways :-( , too bad. I will never show such great videos as you do. Thanks for sharing.
