Simply Aviation try to fly with Mahan Air or Caspian Airlines they are using old aircraft like Mahan Air still flying their 747-300 and Caspian Airlines still flying their MD-80

Woaah, finally one month watching new trip report with dinner.

I’m most impressed at that Breakfast spread. So many premium classes on other carriers try and get away with a croissant and yoghurt served on a china plate. Not Thai. And this is possibly the first time where the airplane eggs look delicious.

That was a nice flight, consider the amount of different types of airplanes, Thai Airways is really a aircraft collector 🤣

@@Nobasic53 he has his own A340-500 that’s actually ex-Thai airways (ex HS-TLC) as his own aircraft, as well as a 737-800 (he’s qualified to fly that type of aircraft) so he doesn’t necessarily need to fly any of Thai’s aircraft.

It nice to see an airline that genuinely cares about their passengers. It’s unfortunate that many airlines have started to become money oriented and less passenger oriented. Thai Airways seems to be overlooked at times, unfortunately. Also, great trip report Simply Aviation!

Great video as always, I've flew thai airways 787-8 on their daily flight jakarta-bangkok and it's amazing too.

Sangeeta Srivastava On flights to India I’m pretty sure it’s Veg or Non veg. But on other flights it’s always a choice of meat dishes no vegetarian choice unless you specifically pre-order a special meal.

I looked this video with my little Baby brother! He is btw 1 and a half year old. He looked till the end and then I said to him click on Dislike or on Like. HE CLICKED ON LIKE THIS IS MY BROTHER!!! If he would click dislike i would click like but I dont have to now! Nice Video and report David!

To choose 787 and 350 I will take the 787 the wing flex on it is so sexy elegant and gives the plane a clean beautiful look, the 350 winglets are nice as well but no longer exciting, seeing the wings bent went taking off on the 787 gives me a great feeling

Thanks for this tripreport! The food just looks amazing, jealous hehe. Thai Airways really is awesome! I just had one flight with them, but 2 more flights coming up. The employees at the call centre were so nice, they changed one of my upcoming flights FREE OF CHARGE to a different time (same route, same day) so I can be able to fly on their 747-400. So excited for that flight, even though it’s only a short hop from HKT to BKK. Going to be my first 747 flight :D

i got that vienna airport train, so good that you can check in your bag at the train station for certain airlines.

Happy to see my home country airlines on your trip report again. Especially B787 which are rarely fly right now due to an engine problem on most of Dreamliner fleets 😂

Another great trip report. I can't get enough of your channel. I like how you always take your time showing us your rides to the airport, the interior of the airport, and (when lucky) also the lounges that you visit (without filming any faces). You always seem to take your time to properly introduce us to your trip before getting on the actual plane. This is a huge plus for me. David, could you please tell Felix to do the same thing? I also appreciate his videos (please don't get me wrong), but his filming seems to be rushed and often not so steady. This makes me feel that I need to hurry for my last boarding call (even though he normally arrives in time to the airport). Other than that, keep up the great work.. all of you involved in this fantastic channel. You too Felix ;-)

Compliment: aesthetically perfect Favorite part(s): the Austrian lounge with window views, the takeoff views of Vienna, that wonderfull RR engine sound during takeoff and last but certainly not least, THE FOOD AND THE PRESENTATION OF SAID AMAZING FOOD! Wow! 15 minutes from the train to the lounge?? Very impressive. Anyway. Loved that lounge. Kick ass view. Also food & drinks pretty amazing too. Very cool interior of the plane (including seat, leg room and plugs) and awesome IFE with tons of choices. The meals looked pretty tasty (especially the noodle soup) and no wonder you were so full. You got lots to eat including dessert and breakfast haha. Loved the plane views and the amenity kit. Much more complete than other airlines but on par with Emirates. Pretty smooth landing in Bangkok but that humidity? Holy cow. Hope you were ok with it.

A very good presentation. The food looked amazing. Did you find it inconvenient having to excuse yourself to the person in the aisle seat when you wanted to go for a walk? To me the 1-2-1 configuration is much better.

Thought thai airways use their 787 for short-medium range routes??

Frankly, it did not bother me that the upgrade was paid for by Thai. The reason is simple: videos by Simply Aviation convince by unfiltered presentation of how it feels to be onboard. No biased or influencing voice over. The pictures speak for themselves. Of course I did notice the text, but as you'll certainly agree, it makes a big difference whether someone is talking to you throughout the entire video or if there is silence, enriched with scattered letters and words. Great job, good airline and nice plane (but with a poor 2-2-2 configuration - at least a nice one). Thanks :-)
