EV Owners are CONVINCED they were WRONG and Going BACK TO GAS

Ойын-сауық

Many electric vehicle owners are feeling the pinch, and it's not just in their wallets. Range anxiety, charging problems, and insufficient infrastructure are starting to make them desperate. After getting first-hand experience, they have discovered that EVs, despite all the promises made by manufacturers, are nowhere near ICE cars. In fact, most EV owners are now starting to see their cars as a very expensive toy that has no practical use. Because of this, a growing number of EV owners are making a surprising move: reverting back to gas cars. But what exactly are EV owners seeing in their cars that is making them run back to ICE cars?

I've not met one person who once they've tried and or owned an EV that has 'returned' back to an ICE. Not one. The levels of BS in this vid are off the charts. Paid FUD.

Well, that’s because you and I haven’t met. My Model Y is sloshy, heavy and underperforms on range. I’m getting out as soon as I can afford it.

EVs may not be good for daily long commutes. Also needs a dedicated home charging setup, disciplined charging routine etc. But they are far more reliable and does not need frequent maintenance. If you drive locally, after owning EV, will never go for an ICE(may be rent ICE for longer journey). Just some 💭

They are actually perfect for long commutes as they will save you a fortune in gas and maintenance. Long commutes was precisely the reason I bought my Tesla. With EV range being around 300 miles today, how long is your commute where it is not worth it...? If you have a charger at home, even plugging it in daily takes all of 10 seconds..

I've yet to meet an EV owner. Not one, but I live on a mountain, where starting your car in the blistering cold is an important feature for most people who want to survive the winter.

Got to love how the selective BS is presented here. Of course he failed during his "charging problem BS" to mention that only 20% of EV owners switch back to gas, and that data is old already, reflecting mostly early short range compliance EV's, and 70% of those didn't have a Level 2 charger at home (it was not "charging issues"), which is crucial when owning the current generation of EV's. And most of those "failed charging attempts" where at EA stations, not Superchargers or other stations. Then the other claims are just bizarre fiction. On a 90 Degree summer day, the range loss is around 5% not 30%. This AI generated FUD is just beyond embarrassing already. Which again explains why in 2 weeks, this video has 375 views or about 1 per hour....

In hybrids like Nissan e-power there is a fuel generator that charges that small battery and in electric ones there can't be something to charge?!

I believe that EVs want to eliminate dependencies on fossil fuels needed to run the fuel generator, but they are just not prepared for it. Taking 7-8 hours for charging the vehicle simply does not make sense and Superchargers are not affordable for a lot of people. The idea of EVs looks good on paper but in real life, it’s a different ballgame.

@@ElectricShook Superchargers are not affordable? Bro, it's literaly 1/4 of the price of what you'd pay for gas per mile lmao

@@ElectricShook It is astounding how little people know about EV's. You only need to replace the range you used, so if you are charging for "7 to 8 hours" it means you drove over 200 miles that day. That is beside the fact that people typically sleep 8 to 9 hours, so if the car was charged while sleeping the wait time is obviously zero...
