Great review. I'm Irish and take this is a nod to old Irish folklore - portraying a celtic pagan witch (Bambie), who is is unhappy in her relationship so has cast a spell or hex on her boyfriend taking inspiration from her 'blaze bible'. The verses are reciting the spell, opened by 'Avada Kedavra' each time and creating a salt circle for protection. The light jazzy pop chorus is reflecting a flashback, where we see the depressed witch conforming in her relationship with her 'beast'. The visuals here remind me of Beauty and the Beast. We see the beast take a sip from the 'tonic' and rise in music suggests the spell is now starting to take form. The build up to this final explosion (or perhaps opening of the witching portal?) is so incredible and I can't wait to see how it'll look on stage. Finally we see Beauty (Bambie) and the beast cuddled up all happy, the spell has worked! This video was apparently shot in only 9 hours, to say Bambie Thug has a vision is an understatement! The use of the 'devils chord' throughout the song unifies the sinister tone throughout. It's a masterpiece and a beautiful piece of musical theatre on stage. I just love the references to old Irish folklore Halloween (Samhain) is so incredible and a unique spin on our Irish culture. I hope these elements will be incorporated into the final stage set next month! In the national final, Bambie had celtic symbols on her face and costume and had them flashing on the screen!

I honestly was hoping for ailsha in the national final, i was really rooting for her, but oh my god, Bambie won me over. They are such a wondeful artist. and thank you for explaining it like this ❤
