I don't think it is a weak year, there are not any bad songs, just some kind of songs you either love or hate. And what i really like about this year is that there is no clear winner yet :D

atli hrafn I’m actually happy as heck that there is no clear winner this year but I still think Lithuania will win. The juries won’t underrate them as many people think. I think the juries will put Russia and Georgia low tho.

Probably on of the strongest years in recent memory with so many good songs. The Grand Final would have been a bloodbath between Lithuania, Russia, Italy, Iceland and Switzerland.

It doesn't really feel like eurovision anymore, kinda like every other song contest. The music is getting more modern and a lot of the songs don't seem that eurovision to me, not every song, but a lot of the songs. I know there isn't really any criteria that decides if it is a eurovision song, but I just feel some of them are more made for the radio and Spotify. For now I find it a weak year, but last year at first I thought that too and after listening to every song a few times I liked it. Please don't attack me, it's just my opinion

Among "The Big 5 and the Host" songs I like only Germany 🇩🇪. All others are like "I think I have already heard it in past, so it's not that special". My 5 favs are *Lithuania* 🇱🇹, *Iceland* 🇮🇸, *Switzerland* 🇨🇭, *Romania* 🇷🇴 and *Bulgaria* 🇧🇬 but I can't choose my one absolute favourite 'cause they are all my absolute favourites 😆😆😆. @@tomasorlik6409 I'm from Serbia, and I know there were better options on Beovizija than Hurricane. They are just very popular on Balkan and that's why they won. But I wouldn't agree with you on "cheap" and "trash" part. They are energetic and good looking. And I promise you that they can sing well too. They were just sick at the time of Beovizija. It's okay for you not liking it, everyone has their own taste. I think they will be top 15 for sure, maybe even top 10. Higher placing is unrealistic. Have a nice day! 🤗

Man, I'm glad that the songs in eurovision have become much more diverse. It's sad that Lithuania (my country) didn't get to achieve possibly its best result this year, but can you imagine a year with practically only pop songs and if I heard correctly no rock songs at all?

1. Lithuania 2-5. Russia - Ukraine - Italy - Azerbaijan 6-7. Romania - Georgia 8-10. UK - Denmark - Ireland

National final season made me feel like this would be a weak year but the internal selections have really balanced things out. A strong and open year with no clear winner. My twelve points go to Switzerland!

I don't know why, but I don't have a personal winner this year. Not a single song gives me the winner chills. Yet. Maybe at the semi final we get to see a more complete package.
