That's an absolutely insane bonus feature. A more popular film on a second disc. I understand the reasoning, but it's still crazy.

I can’t wait for these releases! I’m super happy Eureka is branching across the pond for all of us fans here!

Slaughter in San Francisco (aka Yellow Faced Tiger) was one of many proposed projects for Bruce Lee. The story goes, he didn't want to fuck with Lo Wei anymore so he passed. The role went to Wong Tao (Don Wong) who basically disappeared after this bombed, popping back up a couple years later in the classics The Secret Rivals and The Hot, the Cool, and the Vicious. He's the fuckin' man!

I literally finished reading the new book LAST ACTION HEROES yesterday and I don't think this Chuck Norris movie is mentioned.

I watched it last night, he doesn't show up until about halfway through, but he's a pretty big presence as the villain the second half of the film. It's not realyl an action movie, though, it's more of a crime drama. It was originally intended for Bruce Lee.

I immediately preordered Black Mask and Slaughter in San Francisco. Hopefully Eureka or 88 films release Jet li's movie (Born to Defend) on Blu-Ray

I have heard tell of a secret or mysterious HD remaster of this film that is not commercially available to lables but has been shown in theaters and streamed that does not have the burned in subs, but I haven't seen it myself. I wonder what the deal is. I bet Michael Worth or Frank Djeng would know.

It occurred to me a few years ago when I saw the Bolo Yeung movie he directed that other than Enter the Dragon and Battle Creek Brawl I know essentially nothing about his career. He's an interesting director because he made one of the most influential movies ever and he's basically a nobody in a lot of respects. No offense to him, but no one ever talks about him outside Bruce Lee and maybe JC as a footnote

I'm hyped for China O'Brien its been a long time coming since the days of VHS

I didn't pick up any of the Joseph Kuo releases that Eureka put out last year (money reasons), but I couldn't resist pre-ordering The Swordsman of All Swordsmen! Not only does the story sound super interesting, but The Mystery of Chess Boxing being included on that 2nd disc makes this a must-have! I also pre-ordered Black Mask since I've been loving the Jet Li releases that Eureka has been releasing. I'm very excited for the rest of this year, and what may come, since so far it has been absolutely stacked with great releases! P.s. if you go as Chuck Slaughter for Halloween then I'll happily join you as Jackie Chan's iconic character "Die Hard", from Twin Dragons 😂

Chuck Slaughter and Die Hard would be such an amazing Halloween duo. The hair on Die Hard and the mustache on Chuck woudl be legendary. I totally agree on The Swordsman of All Swordsmen. It sound so facsitinag. Can't wait to check that on e out.

I would love for Eureka to release King Hu's The valiant ones. I saw today Spectrum are going to be releasing it in March so I am hopeful they will eventually do it justice.

Eureka King Hu releases would be divine. Spectrum has released a few King Hu sets haven't they? I have one with a massive book all in French in it, it's a great set, though I can't understand any of it 🤣

@@hkcinemasociety Eureka have released Dragon Inn, Touch of Zen, Fate of Lee Khan, Raining in the mountain and the other one with mountain in the title, but Valiant ones is missing. Most of the others have Tony Rayns in some capacity. Definitely worth picking up if you haven't already. I am very excited for Mystery of chessboxing.

@@hkcinemasociety Valiant ones is the only film that is missing. All of Eureka King Hu restorations are superb. I like Fate of Lee Khan, but it's not as good as Shaw brothers The black tavern, now that film needs an upgrade.

I think, like most HK movie nuts, I would love to see a spanking new, fully-featured Blu-ray of Sammo Hung's PEDICAB DRIVER.

Hopefully Warner Bros will hear the pleas of the fans and put it out some day. They have apparently said they will be putting out more of the HK films they own on Blu-ray, but all we can do for now is wait and see, I guess. Probably won't have any bonus material on it, knowing WB.

​@hkcinemasociety George Feltenstein has revealed on the extras podcast that pedicab driver is one of the titles being worked on for re-release on Blu-ray. Hopefully, with revised subtitles that aren't just sdh.

Hopefully Arrow has more Shaw sets coming soon. I think 88 has a few on the horizon, though I might be mistaken. Wang Yu movies I am all for! Bring them on. I have heard rumors that 2024 will be a year of many Jet Li releases, so it sounds like you may get your wish on that one.

last year heard that Shaolin Vs Wutang was coming out, Still hoping Nuigulumar Z aka Gothic Lolita Battle Bear comes out in the West
