etnies proudly welcomes Aurelien Giraud to the skate team. etnies and Aurelien were both born in France and after skating with the etnies team during the Paris Conquest contest last summer, Aurelien’s connection to etnies grew.
While Aurelien won the V7 Teenage Tour at age 6, it was in 2015 when he won the Tampa AM that this goofy footer was noticed by the global skate community. He represented Team France in the 2020 Summer Olympics, and he’s been on the podium at Red Bull Paris Conquest, Dew Tour, World Cup events and more.

Aurelien is running both etnies footwear and apparel moving forward. There are plans in the works for signature gear in the future, and he already has his go to etnies products. Aurelien’s known for going big, so it is no surprise that he is skating the most durable impact resistant shoe - the etnies Marana in white/gum.
The Marana’s 3X more durable Michelin outsole is French too. Michelin translated the performance and durability of Michelin tires to the shoes’ outsole to improve the most durable skateboard shoes on the market.

My friend works in the la gaubretière (Vendée France) where ethnies originally comes from! He even knows the man that launched the company!

I want to kinda agree… but! For me giraud hits harder then any street skater out there. He’s intense, consistent, and balsy as hell.
My two favorites skaters, french pride's Giraud and the magician Andy Anderson in the same team! This is sick!

I like his style! It doesn't look like just muscle memory when he does flip tricks, it feels like you can see him watching the board and deciding the best time to catch it. Looks smooth and controlled!

Best shoes in the game! Been skating the Joslin capsules for my last 2 pairs and couldn't be happier, the feel, the flick, the durability cannot be matched. Really cool to have some extra protection for Heelflips. Plus, it's a skater owned company which makes me even happier! Keep doing what you doing guys, and please don't remove the Joslin from the market ;)

That table top kick flip is absolutely fucking massive. I used to have the transworld photo of Heath boosting an Ollie over it on my wall. This kid flips his board over it and destroys the park in a couple of hours? A powerhouse of talent, balls and style great shit man. Ps. Best skate shoe I ever had was the Etnies Malto Ls. I remember when all skate brands were skater owned. The first time I saw Nike shoes officially start a skate line, I thought skaters would reject it. Boy was I wrong. But seeing top level skaters like Aurelien drop off Nike makes me smile.
This brand was created in my city Cholet by the OG's of Camouflage Street Club & i'm really proud that Giraud is in it ! This guy deserve to be seen more in the US ! Bien jouer Aurelien ! Montre leurs c'est quoi le skate français 🇫🇷

The Culvert Mid is an MTB shoe. Great for riding a bike, but a bit too stiff for skating. If you're looking for a good skate shoe try the Marana or Josl1n.
