It's so good to see this dude skating again. Ever since I first started seeing clips of him I just had a feeling this guy could become one of the best to ever do it. I'm excited to see his future play out. Congrats bro. Especially for performing for your home crowd. It's a lot harder than some may think to perform in that type of scenario

So glad to see someone win; skating in the OG style (doing fat flip tricks over gaps). Competitive skateboarding has become flip trick/spin in to grind flip/spin out. At first that type of skating was new and mind blowing, but now it has become overused although tricks may be extremely difficult... However, the fat air flip tricks have a danger factor and higher impact that is unmatched

Same as with Gustavo’s tre flips, I think variety should play more of an impact in scoring. He had 4.5 different hardflip variations (Hardfip back lip, hardflip late fs 180 attempt, hardfip late bs 180, hardfip back nosegrind, and a bonus .5 for nollie backside flip).

It’s crazy that the skaters from the country that hosts have a tendency to win Street League in that country! Especially when the scoring and even rules seem to be top secret. Not that he doesn’t rip and has been robbed by bias scoring in the past, it’s just strange how it happens over and over again.
