Shout-out to Augie for banning people who were rude to Mama Gut, I thought he was a garbage person until Papa started joining his streams. He’s got a lot of good qualities, though he’s really rough around the edges. He is young though, and it’s worth noting he’s learned a lot over the years he’s been streaming and is able to admit when he thinks he’s wrong, which is really admirable for a streamer, especially his age.

I find that men are quick to attack a woman based on her looks when he can’t compete intellectually. Your wife is intelligent and expresses herself well. Insulting an individual’s looks is easy and requires minimal effort. I hope mama gut isn’t upset for long. I haven’t seen the wedding photos but I can’t imagine anyone looking anything less than beautiful on one of the happiest days of their life.

absolutely. it happens in professional situations where an older superior grooms a younger employee/inferior. it doesn’t even have to be sexual, it’s about an exploitation of a power dynamic to gain emotional dependency, loyalty, and influence. for example, my 22yo gf had a grooming-type relationship with her 27yo mentor. the mentor would divulge incredibly personal info to manipulate my gf into a really close relationship that was almost cult-y/devotion-y. like, it’s literally cult tactics lol.

I hate the "what do you have in common" argument. I used to run a charity with a very large community of people in various age groups and we had tons of crossover in across demographics including age, race, gender, ethnicity, etc. Honestly, on the internet there are tons of diverse communities and it's very common for there to be interaction between all ages. While I think this presents an issue when it comes to children and adults in the same spaces, I think when it comes to people over the age of majority there are absolutely people with things in common from different age demographics. I think a better argument would be that people change a lot between 20 and 30, and usually when a person is in their mid-30s they finally reach a point where they are the person they are going to be... So, I think age gaps in the 30+ demographics are much more LIKELY to be successful than an age gap when one of the parties involved is in their 20s, and this point is often sited as a reason why people are also less likely to get divorced when getting married after their mid-30s. I just wanted to comment on this, because I used to have a very large community and know of many good friendships with people of vast age differences where they had tons in common, with the charity and community being a big part of it.

And I loved my brief conversation I had with Mama Gut on stream a while back about my concerns about my son with autism going into a group home if I pass away. Something like that is were an adult is extremely vulnerable I would consider a type of grooming. It is not simple an age gap that constitutes grooming. And honestly I do think H3 needs to be aware of what his fans are saying because I've had several tell me that when I met my husband I was 19 he was 23 that it's super creepy and he groomed me. So, I’m very late to this video. I’d like to say something about the age difference. Older men and young women (not age gaps in general, but like, under 25) can be quite predatory. Especially if it is a pattern, like keemstar. Some can work, but often what happens is that an older man (older person really, the sex doesn’t matter) has more life experience and likes dating someone so young because they are more easily manipulated due to their naïveté and lack of adult experience. The young person thinks of them as equals and when problematic behavior rears up, and it often does, they think it is acceptable. Where as someone 5-10 years older has more experience and wouldn’t touch someone after noticing they are being shitty because they have more experience. Agree or not, I’ve seen it too many times.
