So this is super late but I think I understand why papa is a little late to see what is happening here. I’m a little older and started watching KZread in 2008 around when it started and as a young person did like Shane and that edgy humor. Papa also being older understands edgy humor and what that looked like back then and can recognize the veneer that a lot of shittier younger people dressed themselves in I have a feeling we were both that guy. Because of that he is not recognizing the true predator underneath. The reason he is so comfortable with his victims and doesn’t behave like most predators is because of the very unique circumstances that he was created in. He’s in a very good spot to hide. He knows how to play on older people’s nostalgia and personal behavior, and present himself as the educated adult who has weathered life and knows the truth to the younger people. Also he asks the question why aren’t the parents doing anything about this a lot of this was kids but there were also early 20 something shit lords like me potentially learning and normalizing some very horrible behavior.

But it should also be that someone who is a certain number of years higher no matter the age of consent still shouldn’t be able to smash someone under 18
