Depending what he was drinking in that scene and when Nikki had the calls from from sunny and saying he can get attacked that’s when the two men came into play about the attacking man Nikki and Ethan jumped in the car and the they were driving faster to get to him in time but Ethan swerved and crashed and that’s the whole context
