The stand on my desk that I use to elevate my work area is an IKEA SIGFINN monitor stand.
Before opening any vintage watch or clock for the first time I recommend checking it for radium paint. I didn't do that in this video because it wasn't the first time that I opened this watch. For more information on radium and how to check for it using a geiger counter see either of these two videos:

The NetIO GC10 that I use is no longer made. It uses an SBM-20 geiger muller tube, which is also used in the GQ GMC-300E and other geiger counters. If you find one of those it should perform similarly.

I actually didn't know that's the origin of the Eterna logo! That's pretty cool trivia. Not a bad idea with the rotating photography turntable as well.

I did really enjoy this video. For my first luxury Swiss watch rather than buy an Oris Aquis or vulgar Tag Huer I am thinking of an Eterna Centenaire 61 18K gold case. I like the fact it is an in-house movement and the inginuity of the 5 ball bearing system. I like the symetry and simplicity of the dial. Plus the entire case and bag is solid 18 carat gold. Please keep making this length of video. I like the sunjects of the weight of the gold, interchangability of parts. Plus do intend to wear mine in the office a few days a week regularly. So I am indeed interested in water resistance and how the achieve that. Not that I intend on getting it wet. I would love to see a video where you chnge the gaskets/ o rings on crown, bezel and chrystal if appicable. Could a double dome sapphire chrystal be fitted to this withour ruining it? Thank you and best regards from England.

Thanks for your comment! I share your enthusiasm for Eterna watches! Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question about changing the crystal.

Yeah, not my best. I ended up polishing out the circular texture anyway. I need to get a proper polishing set-up. 😂

I am working on an eternamatic 3000. Does the auto wind assembly come off with the oscolating. Weight attached? It looks like I can’t not use a screw driver to take the oscillating weight off of the autowind assembly. It looks like it may take a special tool like some other watches I’ve seen. Any thoughts? The watch has never been serviced. It just need some love. The watch runs but stops and stuck sometime.

I think you should be able to do either: remove the center screw to remove only the rotor or remove two screws under the rotor (by rotating it to reveal them) to remove the assembly with the rotor attached.

According to the number stamped on the movement your watch here is a 1958 😊

Thanks! I recall looking that up as well because that's the same way I would have dated it. I wonder why the numbers don't match. If you don't mind my asking what source did you use? (I don't recall where I did the research or if I showed it in the video)
