Kerli is probably the most popular Estonian pop singer outside of Estonia. She's had a couple of #1s on the Dance Charts in the United States and is pretty big in Brazil, surprisingly. She's about to put out new music in the next few months, but recently has been featured a lot by other artists - I'd recommend the Feral Hearts video if you'd like to see four examples of Estonian mythological creatures and some gorgeous scenic shots.

Hi! "Feral Hearts" by Kerli is a must also because of the video! Also Ewert & The Two Dragons have been a major indie/folk band here. "Good Man Down" was huge by them, so I really recommend it. Curly Strings is also an iconic band! "Kättemaks" or "Kuu" would be great to react to. Jüri Pootsmann is a good one and one of my favourite Estonian artists because apart from "Play" and the song he did with Elina Born, he has a very distinct under-rated electronic pop sound that is not very common, like in "Aga Siis", "Täna", and "Nii Või Naa". There's also a really important Eurovision entry we had in 2015 called "Goodbye To Yesterday" by Elina Born & Stig Rästa that was one of the biggest hits that year and also a hit in Europe. Stig Rästa is one of the biggest songwriters we have and has written songs for very many huge pop artists like Karl-Erik Taukar, Traffic etc. But of course the song festival songs need to be checked out most importantly :-)

I’ve never been into Estonian music (I listen to very specific genres that really lack representation in Estonia), so it’s cool to react to all of those songs with you also for the first time.

That öölaps was My favirite by far! The flow was insane and the background music was👌

With "Öölaps" there seems to be a small reference to an Estonian version of a song "Total eclipse of the heart" - in Estonian that song is called "Öölaps" - "nights child". At 2min13sec in NUBLUS song he plays a little with the Estonian versions lyrics of that song also. No other resemblances though :)

U need to come to Estonia, next year in august then is weekend festival baltic and u can see really beautiful city Pärnu and feel the freaking best festival with really amazing people from estonia and all around the world and with the coolest djs😍😍

Austan su arvamust ja ei ütle sulle halvasti. Weekend ongi probably üks suurim muusika festival baltimaades, aga kaugeltki mitte parim festival mis olemas on. Eestis vb isegi on parim. Soovitaks sul kunagi Tomorrowlandile v Defcon 1.le minna. Tomorrowland on põhimõtteliselt nagu weekend, agaaaaaaaa mitukümmend korda suurem. Defcon samamoodi :) Seeaasta käisin weekendil ja ostsin pileti lihtsalt sellepärast, et üheks tunniks Headhunterzit kuulama minna, aga ma mõtlesin, et kui ma juba olen maksnud siis ootan ca 5 tundi ja chillin niisama ja kuulan ketta taavi ka ära. Ilusat suvelõppu sulle ;)

If you ask what is "Pael" then it's whats on the picture when he sings the word. Same with "LAEV" is a "ship" or "Põder" is "moose" . "PAEL" is either ribbon or string or band. Basically depends on the text line where it's in it will be translated to English in different words

Hey dude great videos so far! I would like to recommend an Estonian rap group (something very different from 5 miinust :D) for you to listen. They are called Küberünnak & Karmo and you should listen to their song "Roolijoodik". This song has some amazing rhyme schemes and I would like to hear what a non-Estonian thinks of it. All the best and keep it up! :)
