España is the most famous orchestral composition by French composer Emmanuel Chabrier (1841-1894). Written in 1883 after a trip to Spain it was dedicated to the conductor Charles Lamoureux. Arranged by William Hughes, musician for the Band of The Scots Guards, it Played in The King's Birthday Parade in 1939, 1950 and The Queen's Birthday Parade in 1952.
