Just like the others I've seen, this is a very helpful video. The problem I always run into, and am still trying to figure it out, is how to have a balance of sustain and have high damage at the same time. I always seem to only have one or the other. I have pretty decent sustain now and have learned to calm down, but I can't seem to find the damage I need to finish the fight. Great videos!

Your tips and explanations are great as a veteran I think your vids rly help new players

Good advice good vid. Pvp was such a mystery to me when I first started. Took a long time to understand it. Especially when ur a big pve player. Forget all that shit most of it goes out the window in pvp. From the armor to the traits to the skills. Shit is like 2nd nature to me on my main.

Good video, i like the point you made on spell/weapon damage leading to more sustain i had this discussion myself last week. I swapped malacath out on my stamdk for the markyn ring and even though its less damage(200 wd/sd) it affects healing and you also get some resistance which all translates to more sustain. Its also a good example of knowing your class because stamdk gets the most benefit from weapon damage than any other class because of minor brutality, unlike a warden however were they probably make better use of malacath because of their passives than a stamdk.

Omg ur right. Checked markyn and it has some good uses. Will get it for myself! And BTW, it doesn't give anything for arena weapons or monster sets, does it?

Yeah the ring does not work on arena weapons or monster sets so in most scenarios ill be 200 wd/sd along with the respective resistances value. Its still a great item just because for a 1 piece nothing really compares since most optimized pvp builds consist of: 5 piece front 5 piece back 2 piece monster set 1 mythic 1 trainee

Wish my ping was lower and they'd fix the lag, that would help me immensely with my sustain since I wouldn't have to spam skills just to get 1 to work.

Honestly it’s so frustrating playing as a Sorc. Pressing my shield 3 times before it actually works. And don’t get me started on bar swapping. It feels like my controller is broken because it just never works

@@blaketaylor740 that's part of the reason I've had to stop playing mine in pvp. Really wish I could play her again cause I want to get her to max alliance war rank, but with ping, lag and bugs its next to impossible with the delay on dark deal and the bird being so prone to dying by wondering off everywhere...

@@turtle-bot3049 well I mostly do battlegrounds and it’s just as bad in there. You can’t even combo anyone as a sorc because when frags procs it takes me a good few attempts pushing the button for it to work. Same with my execute. By the time the skill activates the enemy has healed back up 😂😭

@@blaketaylor740 oof, yeah I've been noticing even BG's getting bad lately. Hopefully they do something to buff magsorcs if they're not going to fix the lag issues

I fight with myself so much not to make every stam build i have a wood elf. The wood elf rec plus serpent mundus is generally all the rec i need. Plus a little more mobility and pen.

Dont underestimate argonian for sustain, bigger heals means less need to use, potion passive is still super good.

Whatt race would you recommend fir non cp campaign as stam dk? I was thinking redguard. But I want your opinion.

I think fully charged but easy way to test is medium weave and check your buffs and debuffs above your hp bar

17:20 is exactly why imo clever alchemist isn't the BiS set :v Shit happens and game's too inconsistent performance-wise not to keep the pot in reserve

@the real Godzilla HELP PLZ!!!+ CONTENT IDEA- can you pretty please make a video about stamblade matchups? I.E Like how to 1v1 a DK or how to 1v1 a WW and maybe some other difficult matchups? WW and DKs just burst me so fast, I have to spend the first 5 seconds trying to kite/out heal their burst and usually it kills me regardless, so could u please walk us thru how to handle those harder matchups? It's hard for us babyblades trying to learn 1vX when we cant even 1v1 certain specs. Smh, first off great video. I HATE with a passion how my poor pet sorcerer skill line deadrec summoner aka THE WORST CLASS SKILL LINE IN THE GAME. is not even in the conversation as a sorcerer sustain tool when your pet dies... WHY, is that because it sucks so bad...you rework the dks but honestly I can't be a pet sorcerer because the skill line is the WORST skill line in the game.. rework pet sorcerer..get rid of rebate when my pet dies...and give me bonus light/heavy attack damage....or more heavy attack return on Stam/magic.. something anything but REBATE PET PASSIVE. Enough is enough, balance zos smh

Good and solid advice, easy to understand... However, the presentation was terrible. Not to sound to harsh, but i seem to notice as time goes on you become worst at presenting your points... You eat words, you keep inventing new names, mixing skills up or straight forgeting the names or values. This is a game you play for so long and are passionate about, yet you dont even bother knowing your stuff... grab a script next time maybe. Cheers.
