Top 5 Most Useful Homes Every ESO High Isle Player Should Own (2022)

Ойындар

Updated for High Isle! These are the top 5 most useful houses in the Elder Scrolls Online for any players who want to speed up their daily routine. #elderscrolls #esohousing #highisle
Even if you're not a housing enthusiast, you'll probably want to purchase a couple of these for your in-game quality of life. Each of these homes provide your characters a free way to quickly return to a major city of the game and access the amenities that come along with it.
Forget to pick up your Undaunted Dailies? Need to Repair? Left something in your Bank? Never stress again after collecting these high utility homes! I've updated my ratings based on changes made to ESO in Blackwood and High Isle to be even more objective while considering all city services you'd potentially access via each home along with their general proximity to nearby cities and Wayshrines. Just like my first video covering this topic, this is not a ranking of how awesome each home is, but rather a ranking of the functionality and access they provide. Check out my full rankings here: bit.ly/esohomeranking

In High Isle you don't need go downstairs to exit inn(or whatever is that building where room is), you can use doors on 1st floor and exit even faster. My top 5 after HI (price vs utilities): 5. Cyrodilic Jungle House. That house paid every penny, Shrine is just in front door. 4. Vivec City. All is near to that room with two shrines just there. 3. Pilgrim Rest. Blackwood is Blackwood. All just there in two blocks plus shrine. 2. Snug Pod. If u are a master crafter this is the BEST HOUSE u can buy. 1. Highhallow Hold/Ancient Anchor Berth. The best house duo in all TESO. All is there: Stable, Bank, Guilds, Shrine, ToT, Out refuge, Impresario, Guild Traders, Craft Stations, Special Shrines. With Vivec the best city designs in all TESO.

    @@Kalam0n There are so many places that are just missing a few things, or have some facilities that are on the other side of a large poorly organised city. It really would not be difficult to have a number of small towns with all the facilities and a nice house. I know it would mean potentially a lot of traffic, but if there was at least one in each zone it would not be a problem.

    This video looked like a promo for Tales of Tribute lol. The absolute vast majority of players find even the easiest NPC players challenging and unfun, no to mention way too time-consuming, and don't bother at all. Anyway, on topic of the houses - some places I think deserve a honourable mention at least IMO, so in no particular order: - Quondam Indorilia - it is relatively close to Mournhold, although sadly it is in the opposite direction of the trading/crafting district of the city. It is also a big house with spacious courtyard, 2 storey house with a big cellar, so one can go wild decorating it. The walls of the house are all curved and some furnitures are quite challenging to arrange, and it is among the more expensive houses at above 1 mil gold. - Mournoth Keep in Bangkorai while far from big cities, has a wayshrine right outside its gates. Very big courtyard with a big house. Again expensive at 1 mil gold. - Cyrodilic Jungle House - very close to a wayshrine, sweet little house with a courtyard. Below 100k gold price. - Old Mistveil Manor - right outside Riften, a big crafting and trading hub, and as you may have guessed it - spacious enough to decorate it to your heart's desire. 1 mil. gold - Pilgrim's rest (Inn apartment in Leyawiin) - Leyawiin is very convenient city with everything being 5 sec away from each other, and the house is very cheap.

    The Cyrodilic Jungle House was my first home and still a personal favorite! I tried to set aside my personal preferences for this video, but I'm also tempted to make a tier ranking video in the future where it's all opinion and I'm not trying to be objective. I do find the divisiveness of ToT interesting too. It feels like no one cares, but I'll typically play enough to get my Rubedite trophy each month, and when I unlock the leaderboard there are always 500+ above me. That might not sound like much, but on PC-NA you can get on the weekly IA Necro leaderboard by just entering the archive.

  • @Kalam0n

    Luckily, I play from the mid-Atlantic region of the US, so doors are barely an inconvenience. That being said, Snugpod is still the best (imo) for capital city amenities and Sugar Bowl Suite is just as convenient for crafting/banking but is also the closest you can get to a Wayshine (it also has an exterior door, so no extra doors/floors). But I also rank both Water's Edge and Alinor Crest pretty highly. They are among the best large homes for sure!

    Hey I'm planning to buy a notable house from crown store, can you pls tell me which one is the best and why pls?...

  • @Kalam0n

    @Kalam0n

    Жыл бұрын

    Sure, long post ahead! Most of the Notable homes are in weird places, so their utility is generally low. Many are also only available in the crown store temporarily, which means unless you're willing to wait, you've really only got 9 options you can count on. Of those 9, Coldharbour Surreal Estate is in arguably the best location but you can also get it for gold. Here's why: The Hollow City has most of the amenities of any other capital city other than an Outlaw's Den and its Daily Writ route is reasonably quick. On PC-NA the traders are run by solid trading guilds, and if you get into decorating, you'll probably be visiting Zanil's Luxury Home Furnishings most weekends (who is stationed in the Hollow City). Oh, and there's no Justice system enforcers there, so if you've racked up a bounty and just want to get your daily writs done without dealing with it, Hollow City is the place to do it. This one isn't really a house though, it's more of a platform for building, but if you only care about functionality, that's another perk. You have plenty of room to set up your in-home storage, armory, merchant, banker, and crafting stations right next to the entrance. If you do want to decorate, this is a fun one because you can basically build whatever house you want out of furnishings. The only 2 that beat it in utility using my ranking system are Highhallow Hold (not available yet), and the Hall of the Lunar Champion (which is only available via quests in Northern Elsweyr). If you want a crown store exclusive notable home, I guess I'd wait for Highhallow Hold, the Princely Dawnlight Palace, or the Stone Eagle Aerie. HH is the clear winner utility-wise but the other two are decent and give you quick access to DLC cities that are useful, but not really daily destinations. I also think they're some of the cooler notable home designs.

    I rate it very high. It's just about interchangeable with the Gardner house when it comes to utilities, so really a matter of aesthetic preference / priorities. Both are comparable to Snugpod in utility, but way larger. Snugpod is just slightly closer to the stuff that matters in the city (and is a steal at 45,000g). But if you want the biggest home possible, in one of the capital cities, Quondam is worth it.

    @@Kalam0n if your guildies are not in the part of the zone you want to travel to, you can still use the wayshrine next to you and it will be still faster than exiting your house through loading screen, plus any prime location has guild traders and/or crafting stations closer to wayshrine (that's why it's a prime location) than your house, so it's definitelly not more efficient and consistent. prime locations are belkarth, vivec city and mournhold, that's it, that quite narrows down the selection of houses to buy, right

  • @Kalam0n

    @Kalam0n

    Жыл бұрын

    You don't have to exit your house though... you can quick travel to the exterior of any home you own. There are also several homes that are closer to specific city amenities than Wayshrines. Snugpod is closer to the Stablemaster, Outlaw's Den, Master Writ Turn-in and Outlaw's Den than most (all?) Wayshrines in the game for example. If you prefer to travel to guildies that's cool, but it's definitely not more efficient or consistent across the board. Craglorn housing sucks, but that's probably also the least consistent zone to travel to a guildie in my experience. I'd much rather quick travel to the exterior of Sugar Bowl and hit the Elsweyr Wayshrine to Belkarth otherwise odds are I'll be on the other side of the zone and have to hit a Wayshrine anyway. Belkarth also isn't a prime location by any means unless you're running Trials, which most of the playerbase is definitely not.
