Escobar junior says he struggles to keep away from his dad Pablo’s shadow

Sebastian Marroquín looks back, his family lived in a world of fantasy in their native home in Colombia. As a child, he had it all: a loving dad, a kind mom, happy childhood, mind-boggling wealth and a vast expanse of imperial residence, the Hacienda Nápoles.

Yes he is I follow him on IG. But I kinda feel bad for him. People only want to talk about his father, I know after time it gets old. But for the rest of his life he will never escape this ordeal. And his father is deceased. There's no humility, no compassion . Everybody just wants to know about Escobar. 🤷🤷🤷🤷 .

Sebastian Marroquin is 43 yo, and is the same age now, as his father was when he was assassinated. He was a child when his father was running the Medellin Cartel, so he had no influence on the business. He could have remained hidden today, but he decided to come forward to tell the world who he is and that he's nothing like his father, regardless of what the world thinks. He met with the three sons or Rodrigo Lara Bonilla, the Colombian Minister of Justice ,who was assassinated by Pablos men on his orders. Sebastian did not have to do any of these things, but he's trying to right the wrongs or "sins" of his father. Sebastian has a legitimate profession now, as an architect. He continues to do speaking tours and interviews, and has all my respect. I think his father would be proud of him for making something out of himself.

Its hard to see a son who has to give interviews about his father, rather then who he is as a son. They sometimes say, the sins of the father visit the children, and then its left up to the children to pick up the pieces in the shape of forgiveness for the sins committed, This is why its important to be good role models to our children, and teach them right from wrong...

I respect what Pablo did from a criminal point of view in that he was a smart shrewd crook. Hoever, he gave to the poor as a way to gather support and help. It was possibly done out of kindness but being the manipulative cunning guy he was i dont think a person can realistically and honesty deny it was done to benefit himself and this was definately a factor in him deciding to do so. You have to remember when Pablo wanted foot soldiers he went to those barrios and housing complexes he built to find them. The young impressionable kids looked up to him and felt obligated to help him because of what he did for them. I think Sebastian knows this deep down but is in denial and pushes the line that his investments in these poor areas was out of outright altruism. It was not. I dont hate Pablo i actjally find him charismatic, likeable and smart however i dont agree with the voilence but he was in a world where that was going to happen no matter what so from that perspective its understandable. However dont get sucked into thinking his good deeds were purely that they mostly had ulterior motives. The man sacrificed a plane load of innocent people to kill one man. That is the plqn of a psycopathic mind znd the psychopathic mind sees people as pawns to be used for ones own agenda. Once you u derstand this and his personality its easy to see that his so called good side and good acts were a manifestation of manipulative ulterior motives. All you have to do is look at who he is and what he does to understand that any good was mainly done to benefit only one person.. HIMSELF!!! ASK ANY PSYCHOLIST OR A PERSON YOU CONSIDER A GOOD STUDENT OF HUMAN BEHAVIOUR AND THEY WILL TELL YOU ONCE GIVEN A PROFILE OF PABLO ESCOBAR THAT HIS SO CALLED GOOD SIDE WAS NOT DONE OUT OF TOTAL ALTRUISM. THEY WILL TELL YOU HE HAD ULTERIOR MOTIVES.
