One of the most important tips I can give for people struggling with breaking out of the mid-game is one related to mind-set. You got to stop doing only content within your "comfort" zone. Get otu there, and experience new and challenging content. Need agility levels? Try the Hallowed Sepulchre and level up your movement. Do bosses that you haven't done before, and get acquainted with new mechanics, that will transfer over later etc. Way too many people get stuck doing the same "noob"-traps for far to long and will never do something to break out and become a better player.

2 big tips to add on, first, herb boxes at nmz is widely forgotten. Ur gonna want the cb xp from nmz anyways so use ur points on herb boxes and for imbues do emirs arena. 2nd point is while u may wanna wait for some higher cb for slayer u get a very fair share of xp by setting ur slayer by point boosting. By time u rack up a few hundred points in preparation for bigger badder, slayer helm, and 1 or 2 block spots to be ready. (Might be a bit tedious but the reward is ur ahead in the later parts)

I’ve watched you for a while now, and just subbed, keep it up man.

To get bossing without too much struggle, I'd recommend high combats (right after picking up all available basic gear). They compensate much for low end gear and are of course a great investment for later on. When you afk, aim for 85 95 80 melee stats. Do your magic grinds early, such as mta and alching gold bars/ unstrung maple bows while doing agility. Chin ranged, aim for 90. Unlock mm2 caves, also a great spot to get (elite) void range. 80 hunter with birdhouses for optimal chins. With high ranged and magic you can start learning the gauntlet which is amazing money and excellent pvm training in addition for the change at big upgrades. Melee's help later in slayer, demonic gorillas and so on.

If you're still struggling to buy runes, strong money makers include blackjacking, then earth battlestaves with paddewwa tabs. BruhSailer ironman guide has a great earth battlestaves guide and the steps to get there. If you're missing basic combat gear and stats, a powerful order of acquiring is questing/barb fishing melee's to 45, 50+ 45, herblore for super atk and str pots, str ammy, climbing boots, berserker helm, rfd gloves, iban blast+rune armour to get berserker ring, rune sword, torso, proselyte. finish barrows gloves, start training melees. d scim, rune defender, neitiznot helm, d defender. Rune pouch as early as possible if you can do lms. Rune crossbow, black d hide, glory. optionally diamond and ruby bolts for bosses. Optionally thralls, piety, fire cape. Next step could be bofa, zenytes, zammy hasta, whip, trident, faceguard, occult, blowpipe, toxic trident, lance.

starting low combat is also cool, cause you can go for the untrimmed slayer cape (which is one of the least obtained untrimmed capes btw, aside from construction, but that's easy enough)

I subscribed, by the way. Looking forward to the improvements (on grammar). It’s been catching my attention much more since returning to playing and watching OSRS on KZread.

8:30 is really important. Mid-60s(he says 70+) in every skill is when you will have enough experience training a skill to know which methods of training you like and what are best for you. You simply aren't going to get to mid 60s wasting time because by then you will be committed and much more knowledgeable in that skill. Time is important too. Spending a couple months cumulative training a certain skill will make you much more knowledgeable, especially if you do research during your down time

In culmination with quest completions (and diary) your point is absolutely spearheaded by unlocking more and more locations/methods of travel. Being able to create your own Rings of Dueling, in conjunction with magic Tele's, Spirit Trees, Boats you couldn't access before, Fairy Rings, and Gnome Gliders, training a skill and banking materials can be halved by just having a more developed understanding of ALL your transportation options. (Sorry for running on) As a lvl 71 Ironman that loves skilling of all kinds (Yes even Farming and Runecraft, though admittedly... less than the others) being able to IMMEDIATELY get to Fossil Island and back again has been a BOON to my Hunter skill (Admittedly, my least favorite skill, never saw the purpose and it was never fully finished)

Thanks great video! Did the 99 thing when i started again with osrs around 5-6 yrs. Just grinded out 99 fishing and got some sweet agility xp on the side. Was a good start imo to have the motivation of an untrimmed fishing cape (altough it almost took me a year to get it)

Having a iPad and doing stuff at work is great. With responsibilities & time short it does help. I don’t feel motivated to play when I got a few hours of free time after a long day but grinding during the day helps

I've always said that Midgame is a grind for the equipment (trident, barrows etc) and stats for Zulrah as she is the final boss for midgame. After getting both fangs it opens up so many avenues with bossing into the late game that pushes you to max stats. Thieving as well is so underrated for what it provides. I've been playing on and off since getting 99 thieving and I never have ran out of prayer pots, super attacks and strengths after doing a bit of post 99 training in 2020. The 13mil I got from ardy knights also gave me a considerable boost which propelled me further into account progression. Literally that's it. 87 Slayer, 99 Thieving and a bit of barrows will get you into the lategame.

Hey no help. Do you play a main as well? I’ve been trying to balance between two accounts but it’s very tough unless I’m doing Easy afk tasks. Do you ever play a main?

I feel like escaping the midgame is just post barrows gloves and that point it's where people wanna play. What u did pre barrows gloves might be more relateable, cause i know i didnt finish wintertodt till 50hp myself for example

1:17. As an ironman i kinda get it, but Konar on a main account is a *complete waste of time.* The profit is more or less negligible (the brimstone keys are 200-400k per hour at most) and the tasks are generally worse xp than just doing Nieve, or Duradel. If you find Konar sending you all over the map fun, go for it, but other than that please just consider that you can make what you do from 10 hours of Konar from 1 hour of bossing, and bossing is more fun as well imo.

a tip for new iron mans, like me. Pick the guam weeds too! you can use them to make guthix rest(2 guam/a harrarlander/ a marrentil) , wich helps a lot on Zulrah when you start its grind. I love your vids NoHelp XD

I think the try out bosses is great.. but kraken and cerberus are 87 and 91 slayer, which is definetly endgame

It's pretty easy to escape the mid game. Afk any stat to 99 and you will know what it's gonna take to get your cmbs to 99 then ur done. Ive always known 99 in combats it's super easy bc u do so much cmb in this game.

Really funny to see the scale of time spent playing OSRS to other games. Where spending 5 months to something is considered easy.

The biggest difference between a mid game player and someone who is in the end game is those who do all the quests and diaries and have the requirements for them, also those who have all the important upgrades in their POH. Only then can you truly play the game the way it is intended.

You don’t really need your own POH unless you’re an ironman. Just use other people’s houses.

Yea for real. Almost all of my combat training before I started slayer with Chaeldar was done at chaos druids. That along with constant farm runs got me 70 herblore within a few months

Am I the only one who thinks the regular knight armor aesthetically looks better than all the fancy high level costumish armors?

If you hate daily-scape, just dont do iron account. Mains have more fun! Also, why would you leave the mid game? Thats where all the chill content is.

This seems more ironman focused. Would love more tips for non-iron accounts.

really glad you mentioned thieving, such an important skill for any type of ironman for sustaining potion supplies. also, just my opinion, but mid-game to me would be having a good weapon for each combat style (zammy hasta & whip, blowpipe/bowfa, trident), 45-77 prayer and a dragon warhammer, this pretty much opens up all pvm content in the game and you can then work on upgrading the rest of your gear from raids, bandos, sara, etc.

Imo your time is better spent questing in the early game

I just find it funny that in a help guide for escaping low level/mid level irons, you suggest killing hellhounds on konar slayer one of the slowest ways to train the skill. The longer you spend doing shit exp melee tasks that bleed prayer pots the longer it takes till you get to the good tasks like nechs that can be bursted for 150k magic and 40-50k slayer an hour, even with really bad gear. You're adding hundreds of hours to the slayer grind. The advice should be to tureal boosting till you get good points, and skip all the really bad melee tasks, and block the highest weighted ones too while bursting the good ones for quicker slayer levels.

I think I understand the reason people shouldn’t get sucked into gaming, especially as psychologists are finally recognizing it as an addiction… I may be the only one that is a grammar teacher. However, over just the last month, returning to OSRS, I’ve watched many videos here on KZread. It shows the stop in learning when nearly every one of those OSRS videos, the KZreadrs have very poor grammar, even with scripted videos. Look to learn a bit about proper grammar is my recommendation. HELP the community of OSRS, especially if you’re scripting your videos. Please. Thank you for the video and I hope you’ll improve your learning of English.

Well da you need to fish 94 fishing to get 99 cooking the fm 99 for easy 2nd 99 to trim cape and then you got food and money for amour and weapon to work on str to 99 def don't alway forget do slayer well you train melee
