Honestly, shoutout to all the OSRS content creators because it is thanks to you all that a lot of these changes happen. You all point out things that I think a lot of people overlook, and it seems they addressed a lot of things that I have noticed other OSRS content creators complaining about, i.e., requirements for basic agility shortcuts, etc.

I think Prayer Regen and Aggro pots need to have STEEP requirements in order to not be a net negative on the game. My biggest issue with Prayer Regen is its a straight powercreep. And any new content will be designed around its existence in the game. On the other side of that coin, everything that came out prior to prayer regen is much easier. Im not against making some things easier or more bearable, but this is sketchy waters.

Excuse the potentially stupid question but are any of these changes implemented yet? Or are they just proposed/announced and not live. Is there a date when we can expect these changes to be live? I'm specifically interested in the mob defense, magic, and early combat changes.

Everything past 3:46 has yet to be implemented / still in the works. The skilling updates talked about before that went live about a week ago.

No he has it right. 1 prayer point every 12 ticks (7.2seconds) for 8mins. Which equals 66 prayer points. Wonder how this works for holy wrench, is it 1,1,2 prayer restore? So total potion becomes 88 or something per dose?

Hopefully the Occult Necklace nerf isnt too much, specially since it was a very affordable upgrade for mid lvls and most likely with all this, gear upgrades will go up in gp making requirements a bit more expensive and as a poor osrscaper, that could hurt my purse u.u but as you said, it is all about adapting to the changes, so only have to wait and see how it goes and with the new weapon coming out, i suppose it shouldn't be bad In the other hand, prayer regen pot sounds good, interested to see how it balances with the prayer pot or if it will take over if only using above head prayers since the consumption isnt that fast; The item loadouts seem very nice, such a nice quality of life feature, hope it gets implemented. RSN Bladirs ♡

The only content it'll change is afk slayer, everything else it's just a nice boost. And even then moonlight moths are better for afk slayer since they're free.

@@cibrig8719 this is completely different than moonlight moths. Moths restore only 22 prayer points at one time and they’re meant for group encounters like raids. Prayer rejuvenation pots restore 66 prayer points over time meaning that you will need to bring far less prayer potions with you, and almost directly devalues prayer potions.

Its a good item but you're high if you think it'll invalidate anything. Hard healing will always be superior to HoT. You need a massive prayer bonus to see any meaningful benefit from it over prayer pots lmao Like it'll be good, and useful. But invalidating things? Take an inventory full to any MEANINGFUL content and tell me how much it changes the game. Meanwhile, 22 prayer points for absolutely free and it didn't do shit to prayer pots. It's almost like... Having a burst of prayer is always better.

@@cibrig8719 I’m not exactly sure what you’re on about. 1) moths are one time use. They’re way less useful than 4 dose prayer pots. 2) 66 prayer points is 66 prayer points, whether it’s HoT or not. Regens are meant to be used along with prayer potions, they don’t devalue prayer pots completely but they absolutely can have an impact on their price because you will need to buy fewer prayer pots to preserve your points. That’s basic supply and demand, and you’re laughing like you actually said something intelligent.

The new aggro potion will be amazing for non-aggressive slayer monsters to speed it up. Rsn michaelazar

the dueling wand and prayer regen pots seem kinda worrying to me, both have the potential to be really broken.

So many quality of life updates that 10 year old me could have only ever dreamed of, maybe not even dreamed of.

I’m most excited for the equipment load outs, that just makes sense and is kinda crazy it’s not in the game already.. also having pet dogs would be better than cats, hopefully one day… RSN gananondorf

Honestly a lot of these updates are simply things that people think they want but could ultimately trivialize some important early-mid game fun items and activities like the occult necklace being a cheap but very effective upgrade, and herb runs for Ranarrs being such an awesome money maker. It carries money making in the early game in such a nice way. As soon as you start taking away value from early-midgame you lose the magic that makes old mmorpgs so great. Every game nowadays is about grinding endgame garbage forever because there is so little value in early game and making players spend more and more time on the game ultimately. Not good.

So nice to see some of the best qol features from rs3 coming to osrs. inventory presets should have been added years ago, nothing worse than grabbing an armour set and forgetting your necklace or gloves or similar.

Forgetting your slayer helm is so annoying lol.

Im really on the fence with the aggro potion. It seems like an item tailored for griefers especially with some afk slayer monster spawns being far enough for it to not instantly get aggro'd.

Everyone complains about occult, how about the fact that stupid imbued heart is so rare for such a massive boost. Put into perspective ahrims + heart is more dps than ancestral no heart... I dont understand why heart is so rare for how good it is yet something like occult is cheap and fairly easy to get but it needs to be nerfed... make it make sense

If you use rune lite, I believe it’s shift+right click. You should then be presented the option to swap your menu; doing so, you can make your left-click whatever you want. I could be wrong though on the shift+right click on the item though. Need menu entry swapper tool/plugin.

Occult necklace was one of the only decent end-game upgrades my account can afford. Hopefully the nerf isnt so much that it adds an absurd amount of unimportant gameplay hours to current bosses. Also, is the new herblore stuff actually game changing for anyone? Just seems like youre going through a hassle for items which over simplify an already simple activity and with no saved time. Also, pot storage.. thats not a toggleable option right off the bat which is just evil imo.

My favorite change is probably the Dagannoth King shortcuts. I've only recently finished the Freminik Elite Diary to make bones stack and the short amount of time I've grinded Rex, allowed me to get enough money so I can try Nex masses (no luck) and to chin MM2 for higher range. Currently on CG grind for enhanced but it might be more worth it if I go back to DKs if they lower the respawn timer as well. Need money for prayer and bonds smh. RSN Koo Koo34

Always appreciate the effort that goes into making these update vids + the insightful commentary, but the opinion on the magic gear changes feels a bit rough here. This is the third unpolled gear update (pipe, fang, occult) where mid-game items have been nerfed purely to appease the concerns of end game players. Bit frustrating that the “solution” always involved kicking mid-level players in the balls and leaving them without a decent alternative.

I just want the Varlamore armor available to players so I can dress like Solaire of Astora

The aggression potion should be scrapped it will just make botting mobs even worse, things like crabs will become almost impossible to find a spot for new players.

Literally everything is a copy of rs3 what do you mean? 🤣 the bosses are legit the same concepts and the scythe of vitur is the noxious scythe from rs3.. the boss zulrah is the same concept as Queen black dragon on rs3 and the raids system is almost identical. I don’t even play osrs and it looks so much like rs3 before I quit 🤣🤣 the ghazier rapier looks like chaotic same with corrupted gauntlet being dungeoneering without the skill level..

If they havent fixed zolcano for rewards you dont get KC all the time because it dies so fast and they havent changed the min damage for a drop.

Maybe they should just raise the alch price of the occult necklace much higher. It takes killing a task only slayer monster with 93 slayer. The problem isn't it's power it's that op it's that it's undervalued while simultaneously the rest of mage gear mostly is trash.
