    Excelente trabajo, muy ocupado en hacer lo mejor posible el video, ¿ que importa si estás construyendo en un árbol seco o sea vivo?, lo importante es la idea de hacer una cabaña en un árbol y poder disfrutar del aire fresco, la naturaleza, apreciar el amanecer y atardecer, disfrutando de la tranquilidad del campo, lejos de ruido, el esmog contaminante y el estrés de la ciudad. Lo único que podrías hacer es ponerle unos troncos de cimientos y apuntalarli para reforzar cualquier imprevisto con el paso del tiempo y que la raíz del árbol seco se pudra o las termitas se lo traigan abajo, pero tienes para mucho tiempo para disfrutar del bosque. Saludos desde Perú, que aca hay mucha jungla donde hay casas y hoteles en los árboles. Buen video sigue adelante y dale su acabado final.😊

    I would leave a gap for the tree (trunk and limbs) to move in between the construction. If not, the next storm will give you some unpleasant surprises.

    Fun! I know its a little late but the outlining jig can be used much simpler. It does not need to be held at a 90deg. Simply lay the board back a ways, push the jig onto the tree at any angle that covers the width, then mark the board directly using the OTHER side of the jig. :)

    Wow! I have stayed in about seven treehouses, bcuz I love them so much. And would love to build one myself one day. So, I've watched a ton of videos on this subject.     Such a wonderful adventure. It appears that your big tree is in the process of dying, though I maybe saw some green at the very top. For a dead tree, the next stage is rot. It would be a good idea (if there are dead parts of the tree) to apply a tough exterior clearcoat to protect the tree from water to slow the rotting process. Of course, you cannot protect the roots. Excellent video, thank you.

    you may consider adding cables to the four corners run to other trees because God forbid if it ever gets overloaded and collapses you will have a fail safe !!!!

    Great concept BUT, alot serious consideration on endurance to the elements. Plus the first boards fastened to the tree will bare all the weight at the end. That doesn't look safe.

    Lag bolts used to secure the beams to tree are too small to hold that much weight! Hope you have a parachute!

    looks to me that this tree is going rotten---and if it is alive and growing then butting your boards right up to the tree does not allow for new growth---which will warp and break the boards.

    No because there is nothing that says in this that he's not a professional, anything about being up to code, nothing at all about this not being a long-term project. Someone is going to see this, think it's awesome(which it is), and then try to build it themselves. Someone is going to get hurt. The comments I've seen aren't rude to the creator and read more like PSAs to anyone else wanting to try this.

    I hope people don't think I am the bad guy for this comment. But why are you building this elaborate structure in a dead tree. Do you plan to live full time in it, do you just want to see if you can do it? Is it for your children to play in which I hope is not the plan being that high in the air? Sure it is great having such skills, but what good is it other than being one hell of a deer hunting tree stand?

    @@AstroVanTribeCheck out the previous videos in this build. He has placed supports on other corners that are treated to prevent rot and have been embedded into the earth below. The tree is not the only structural support for this treehouse. Also, based on the amount of bark, and condition of the trunk that we have seen, this tree seems to have recently stopped growing. It will be some time before it becomes a risk.

    I learned this the hard way when i built my basketball ring on the trunk of a tree. Growing up i was slowly starting to be able to dunk the ball but as the tree grew i realised all of a sudden i couldnt reach the ring again.

It was supposed to be a completely silent and peaceful scene and his buddy decided to ruin it with that radio call. If that’s the case, that’s a damn funny joke!
