@@Hitman-zp5wi GOST 4 is closest to our level III+ lightweight ceramic plates, not exactly an equivalent rating, but they both stop relatively similar threat profiles. A level IV plate is somewhere between a GOST 5A and a GOST 6.

Lvl. 4 body armor plate is supposed to stop a .308, 7.62×39, 5.56×45, .223, 30-06. That ceramic plate manage to stop the first 2 rounds but the dents created in the back will put You in the ground and it'll break at least 3 ribs. The impact will be like been hit with 25 pound + hammer in the hands of anyone of the competitors of the WSM,(world strongest man). The person receiving the impact will drop like a rock instantly and if You're lucky any one of the broken ribs will not pncture your lung, heart or any vital organ,(an individual in good phisical condition weighting aprox 230 pounds). With one hit You'll get to the hospital, with two hits there's a high probability that You won't make it out of the OR,(opreation room), if You receive good medical help on time. Stay safe.

You can actually buy the sabots and load them in 308 30.06 300 wm. I have loaded many of them. Fun fact is I have loaded 36 grain varmint grenade projectiles in a 308 casing and it will go through a 3/8 AR 500 steel plate like butter. I also loaded 62 grain green tip projectile even with the mild steel core they do not go through the plate. It was the opposite of what I thought would happen especially being the varmint grenade is made to break apart easily.

It would be better to have a fresh piece of armour for each of the rounds because each time the armour is hit it's going to get weaker and weaker so it's not really a good test of the rounds and the amount of damage they can actually do to a new one and it would be a good idea to shoot each one with a few of each of the rounds and see how many it takes to get through it with each of the rounds/ how much damage the rounds do to a new one. It would cost more but it would be a better test of the rounds and the armour. It's just a suggestion but thank you for your good content. It's very well made for a KZread channel video

These plates can’t be NIJ certified, that backface deformation is wild, they don’t appear to have laminated their UHMWPE.

Even if you were wearing that BA you would have significant internal damage from that "catchers mitt".

Lots of people think a vest or a plate makes them safe from harm, no penetration = no harm, they just don't understand, even without penetration the bullet's energy has to go somewhere. People routinely die from bullets stopped by a vest, most commonly their heart stops - the force of the impact disrupts the electric conduction the heart relies on - they die in seconds or the energy rips an artery that connects the heart (a heart literally hangs in the chest by arteries) tear an artery you'll bleed into your chest, you'll be dead in seconds.

Their Level 6 armor is equivalent to our level 4. It should more or less stop the same stuff. Russia is undergoing a change on their armor classifications though to bring it more in-line with the NIJ numbers. While not completely similar, I do believe their highest will be Level 4 after it's all done.

It was interesting seeing the m80 do more damage to the armor than the m62. At least in the game m62 is way better. Great video by the way

M62 is no better than m80 in the game anyway. Like 4 more pen with 1 less damage
