Eric has always been good with kids. He used to do a spot on Donald Duck to my kids and they loved it. Real deal. Tommy has been in the KISS camp since the early 90's in one form or another.

The KISS these days doesn't work for everybody,I do get that,to each their own.But KISS is on one hell of a run these days and I wouldn't want it any other way.I love how Tommy and Eric have kept the band as strong as it has been,they are a perfect fit for the band and have been for over 10 years and have been a part of the band in one way or the other since the 90's.

I hosted Eric Singer at my music store for a drum clinic and he is a monster drummer! His work with Kiss shows about half of his actual talent. He's also a super nice, very energetic guy. He's definitely the most talented drummer that's been in Kiss. Eric Carr was good but Singer is on another level. See his clinic and you'll understand

I only got into Kiss after watching the concert with the symphony orchestra so I've only ever known the current lineup (yes I know Eric wasn't in that concert), I don't give a shit who was in the band before them. The music still sounds great to me.

These guys are both good dudes and I love their playing in KISS. I dont care that they are wearing Ace and Peter's makeup. I get why they don't create new characters. These guys are much better players than Ace and Peter nowadays. Eric Singer is the best KISS drummer of all time. Tommy is a great guitar player. Is better live these days than Ace. Ace has become pretty sloppy. Bruce Kulick is still one of the best ever in KISS. Classic vintage era Ace is still the pinnacle.

+Commander Kevster Thus the wonderful thing about opinions, we're all entitled to them. Often times with a band like Kiss, "best" as you so put it goes way beyond music, playing ability. Ace Frehley will always be remembered as the legend who was responsible for many a rock star who picked up a guitar and rocked their way into the history books. Ace has his own style and his own technique. He may not be as fast at shredding the frets as Vinnie Vincent was but in the hearts of Kiss fans all the way back to 1974 Ace Frehley was, and is hands down Kiss greatest and most revered guitarist. After all it was Ace Frehley who was inducted into the RARHOF, not Vinnie Vincent, Mark St John, Bruce Kulick, or Tommy Thayer. Don't mistake my words for slams, the other guitarists who played for Kiss after Frehley are technically great guitarists but to compare any of them to Ace is like comparing the movie "The Wiz" to "The Wizard Of Oz"

@@digitalizeddeathexcept the two guys that made KISS what they were still played and wrote the music. Pantera WAS Dime and Vinnie. All they are now is a cover band, riding on the success of the music their deceased band mates wrote.

Just a heads up from a support player-I am so tired of people ripping on musicians filling the shoes of the former players-Steve Parry cant do it any more-Ace and Peter are toast-Let the music live and let young players that get it live a dream!!!!

I recognize the gear behind them. It belongs to Kiss Tribute band KIST. I did their soundcheck for them last month in Indiana as my band opened for them.

+Heinrich VonMeister Ace stated in an interview with Loudwire that he does in fact licence his makeup to KISS, and still gets, I guess royalties for its usage. He also stated that Peter sold his makeup. But both Paul and Gene say that Ace sold his makeup. I guess it all comes down to whoever you want to believe.

I concur!

It's a shame that these two guys have to fall into Gene and Paul's gig to keep KISS alive by having them dress up as ACE and PETER, the original members of KISS, instead of coming up with their own persona of who they are, ie Eric Carr the Fox, Vinnie Vincent the Ank. The Spaceman will always be ACE FREHLEY and the Catman will always be PETER CRISS.

LMFAO..Ace and Pete start a "good" KISS.... First off, they were greedy and sold away their makeup rights, so they couldn't if they wanted. Second, how good would it be with "noodle arms" Pete tepidly tapping the drums? Third, simply being in KISS causes Ace to go back to his old habits. And most importantly, being in KISS requires a lot of work and ambition. Apparently neither one of them have the ambition and desire to work more than once a decade. Okay...I am not going to bash Tommy and Eric as musicians because I think they're unfairly criticized in that respect. That said...what the hell Gene and Paul? You go after Ace and Peter telling them they're alcoholics and drug addicts while they've been sober for years yet in this video Eric talks about Tommy drinking vodka or Tequila at the airport and nothing of a derogatory comment said about that? I just don't get it, either Gene and Paul have a contrived feud with Peter and Ace that makes it okay for them to selectively ignore certain obvious hypocrisies or they're being their usual Hollywood/L.A. Look I can say shit, but they are famous right? I've only been playing in bands touring for 30 years because I didn't act like other famous ppl or dress like clowns, I thought I had integrity until my bills were due then I realized I was a snobby bastard, and began to visualize my passion instead of hobby, unfortunately most killer musicians do not live in cities, and when I travel I got this fact that I held something different than the rest, I could be famous if I wanted, I just didn't want it, and started playing traditional music instead of complex time changes and rhythms. Met many famous musicians and played with them, it's so egocentric sometimes it turned me off, reminded me of fighting which was so competitive that you believe your the best thing since Jesus, that ego driven behavior repulsed me eventually especially after years around that behavior. I'm asking for you to imagine you're me after a decent show, and talking backstage about performance, or shit in general, it's not like a social or a conference, it's about reflecting how great you are, or aren't if you're legit. That said tommy impressed me with saying he didn't teach Ace the leads again, I think he knows that would sound arrogant even though he is a better or evolved guitarist, there's many who are influenced by the older generations and now learn thousand more tricks
