To better understand and appreciate this stuff go to the imho excellent talk he gave at GoogleTechTalks Eric Ladizinsky: Evolving Scalable Quantum Computers That talk has more of the details you really need to know to get a general idea what is goining on with QT and D-Wave.

wtf. 0:13 close no-reverb sound clearly from a close-up microphone of him saying "I don't have a microphone". Then exactly at 00:16, it switches to the room sound recorded by a far away microphone.

+Max Loh It's the podium microphone, which he may not have known was transmitting to the house (or may not have been transmitting to the house). We do know it was transmitting to the recording computer, though :)

One particle in 2 places supports the alternate Timeline. There are 2 Major Timelines.. As well as many many more. Infinite Timelines. So the time travelers need an 'address'... A baseline to return to. Otherwise.. It is very easy to get lost. Has anyone ever experienced 'clicking' over to alternate timeline? Timelines?? Where reality as u recall it.. Is different. Land different... Places different. Then u click back. This happened to me a couple times... Freaked me out!

Eric was a nerdy kid since high school. I see he is still a ultra nerdy guy in his adulthood. We used to play Handball at Pierce College when they had Handball courts! I liked how he talked, just like a cybernetic android! hahahaha......nice to see his is doing well!

Quantum computers are a really big thing but the really huge thing that Wired had missed is the reality of Anomalies in comparison anything else is tiny and insignificant.

26:35 - Here is the admission that he hesitates to vocalize. That individual entrepreneurs have gotten MORE powerful than government and the societies that they represent! If you don't see THAT as a clear and present danger, then you aren't paying attention!

Since the kn owledge was given by God, we have not to worry about computing technology, because it makes our work easier

Ummm, that guy might have good intentions but appears that he is high on Burnaby BC hydro bud and this stuff most probably is hyped-up far fetched nonsense used to support the careers of armies of scientists who have very little left to discover or work on; other than this stuff. And anything beyond the computational power of today's core i7 processors is not needed. We won't need more technology or faster computers - the current state of technology can float us just fine for thousands of years without a single innovation more. We need to govern ourselves better than we do, stop breeding so fast, and take care of everyone alive and stop searching for 'exo planets', etc. When we do this, aliens species who already have bases on the planet and are obviously flying around here and there will respect us much more and subsequently decide to share their advanced transportation technology with us... and the aliens will also tell us what planets and moons they already have discovered where we can rapidly travel or teleport to after we start producing spacecraft like theirs; where we can multiply like jackrabbits again until we strain the resources of that particular rock floating through space. We have between 3-4 billions years before we need to evacuate this planet due to our sun's lifecycle; so we don't need to rush to these computation 'cures' for our biggest problems --- when actually our biggest problems are simply the ways our national economies are rigged by private interests, a runaway burgeoning military industrial complex, the way feed and nourish ourselves with toxic food and polluted water, the way we hype religious differences and spiritual belief indoctrinations into world wars, the fact there are tens of thousands of nuclear warheads on standby that can destroy our entire global civilization in a years time during a global nuclear winter - intentionally or accidentally, and if we make it past nuclear war - overpopulation - there are so many other important problems to solve first in this one real plane of existence and reality we all reside in. Let Fedex burn 1-5% more fuel being un-optimized - that is a non-issue in comparison. The extra fuel they burn is turned into plant food anyway, co2 molecules. Competition for money, lies told to the public (perception management) and general fascism should be outlawed by a new global constitution. Lets use the existing state of technology to fully benefit us; instead of using it against us like a double edge sword by out of control private interests: mainly privately owed international banks, governments, corporations, militarizes. Lets stop thinking so twisted or deep and just better enjoy the simpler aspects of life in a way that people like John Lennon (peace, love, and understanding) or John Denver (empathy, harmony with nature) would approve of; when they often smoked bud their thoughts were actually of a much higher revelation than quantum computing chips, music was only a highest revelation of medium of communication amongst concerning their ideas and messages of a much happier world, rather than any 'answers' that could be computed or subsequently displayed on a computer screen. We owe it to our progeny to focus on the bigger problems that we could solve together if we just agree on the basic principles of peace, love, and understanding together with a greater respect for out natural environment. Let's all just take a chill pill together, enjoy what we have innovated already, and enjoy each other, and have more respect for each other, and our shared future together and for the next generation of human beings. Please share this message, just maybe most everyone would agree. { p.s. And if you are an alien reading this, I sure would like to go for a joyride in your ultra fast vehicle to quickly see some people I miss dearly around the world and some other friends there - you can write me at ionaandpenny at gmaildotcom } Thank you for considering this message.
