As a 90s kid and skater, I have to say that I have a lot of nostalgia for these old x games courses, but let’s be honest the designers had no ide how to make a good street course. They just stuck ramps everywhere in every shape and a shiton on them. Worked better for the bmx guys and even in-line skaters.

You can definitely see it a couple of times during the run where he has to awkwardly carve and loses all his speed haha. My favorite is the ridiculously steep like 20 stair handrail he starts with haha

Everything is all over the place, but they always figured out a way to find some sort of flow. There's kind of a charm to it so it's fun to look back, but keep it at that 😂

Damn, I saw this run live on TV when I was younger. Now being 34 takes me back when my dad and grandma where still alive. He watching silently but amazed and my grandma cooking something.

Back when those tricks were actually considered to be a tough run. Amazing to see this in HD now too..I remember that static filled screen you couldn’t see well.😅

That course is horrible to skate, modern skaters would have a pain to do a much interesting line there.

I don’t think it would get anything near that. If someone did this same line in SLS I think I would get like a 5.2. He did 2 50-50’s, a switch tail slide & a kickflip nose slide that was about it. Then there was the little 360 at the end and the small grab off the ramp. Honestly I think it would be even lower than 5.2, maybe even 4.5

Dude I got to be honest like there's this dude Jamie Smith he used to skate at our park and you can see him absolutely ripping at a level that's way higher than this in the late '90s. Like 360 flip to blunt kick flip out shit. There's a video of him on KZread.
