It is amazing how quickly music transports us back to special times. I was born in 1953 so have experienced many. Just really wanted to wish you well and say thank you for your kind message. I sincerely wish you all the best wishes right back at you that all that read your message triples in the very best back to you.

This was played last night at the very end of the tribute concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Eric Clapton & Jeff’s band mates stood with their backs to the audience & watched this on the screen…it brought tears to my eyes as I sang along with them…very very moving. The whole concert was a beautiful tribute to the great Jeff Beck 💫

Yes, I found that very moving and overwhelming at the end. I couldn’t sing with it but stood and watched with the greatest respect and highest regard for Jeff and all the musicians and for Eric commissioning this animation and music 🎶 ❤

She knows how much of an influence these two were on me as a musician! When I heard this version of Moon River, I couldn't hold back the tears! Beautiful version. The opening solo is not only a hauntingly beautiful interpretation of the melody but also a gob-smackingly wonderful exposition of instrumental mastery and musical inventiveness. The precise bends, the subtle vibrato, the variation in attack, the variation in timing before and after the beat, the volume-control violining, variation in absolute volume, .... I hope you can see why Mr Beck was the Guitar God's Guitar God. RIP.

Absolutely amazing tone. It is a vocal tone. Greatest Strat player of my lifetime. So many faster players, but none as melodic. Never screws up a note. Always knows exactly where he is going. Clapton spoke about this after Beck passed and he said it was great. He was right.

Beck was a better player at 78 than 28. His skills were off the chart. If you know what he is doing, you realize the greatness.

Got chills when Eric started singing. That doesn't happen often enough anymore and I wasn't expecting it. Thanks Eric and RIP to Jeff.

There has to be a place in heaven for Jeff and his guitar - the most gifted player I’ve ever heard. Listening to Moon River is emotional.

This was a truly wonderful thing that Eric Clapton did to show his respect and reverence for his musical colleague and friend… commissioning this animation and putting Jeff’s so recently recorded guitar at the forefront. I thank you with all my heart Eric for doing this. It breaks my heart still, in October 2023 and I think it always will. Showing it at the end of the Albert Hall concert was very fine too 🙏🙏

It said on their social media accounts this was his last studio recording done shortly before his death. With some research turns out Jeff’s guitar parts were recorded June 2022. Which makes sense because from about there on until November 2022 he was on tour with Johnny depp and wouldn’t have been doing any studio work. and then his death January 2023.

This song was one of my Mum’s all-time favourite songs & the original version from ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ was played at her funeral when we lost her suddenly, just last October. This version has been released here on the day that would’ve been her 87th Birthday. So wished I could listen to it with her. A beautiful version of a classic song performed by two outstanding musicians from the most classic era of Rock music history. Jeff Beck’s passing has left such a void in the music world. Glad I saw him play at least once in this lifetime. God rest his soul (& my mother’s) x🌓🪐🎸x

This personifies Jeff's magic. There is some type of modulation on almost every note, whether it's left-hand vibrato or the bar, bending a note ever so slightly off pitch to add tension, or fluctuating volume of the notes. There will never be another Jeff. Realizing he is gone still puts a lump in my throat. Requiescat in pace, Mr. Beck. 🙏♥

I’ve heard many Moon River interpretations of this song, but in my opinion this my favorite. Jeff Beck can make that guitar sing like mother I’ve ever heard before.

This music video is a launchpad into the past, a clear recognition of music present, and I am certain will endure far into the future as a precious musical artifact by these two elder statesman of Rock music. The combination of Peter Max - psychedelic type graphics with the smooth Clapton vocals and including both immediately recognizable lead solos from Eric and Jeff make this epic and timeless. I can’t get enough of the talent in this video! I’ve been a fan of Clapton and Beck since the Yardbirds saw them ever chance I got. Bless Eric for such a wonderful tribute and music treasure, Jeff. Clapton and Beck walked the same path all life long and knew each other as young kids. God bless them both, now and always.☮️💔✌️

Only cried 3 times because of music. Comfortably numb solo live on the wall tour, “Where Were You” , first listening in the car after buying the Guitar Shop cassette, and just now, watching and listening to this one. Such a wonderful tribute. I hope it’s played in some form at the Albert Hall tribute show …it’ll need Jeff’s Guitar track … ❤

What an amazing version of this iconic song. Clapton and Beck, two of the best that ever played a 6 string. RIP Jeff Beck, NO ONE will ever be able to play the way Jeff did.

I just could't held back my tears and just weeping to this mastery. Thank You Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton.

Having had the privilege of seeing both Beck and Clapton beginning in the 60's, this recording and very moving video was heartbreakingly beautiful and moving. A befitting tribute to both of them.
