Sorry Denise.. I truly am.. I feel your pain…. It’s been 3 1/2 years since I lost my first son… He was 23… it’s been a painful yet eye opening journey so far.. Saddest thing about it… I learned more about who he was after he was gone… The gift was sobriety and a sense of humility.. My son is the one who is going to miss out on wherever his journey may have taken him… I’ll always miss him and I’ve cried more in 3 plus years than I have my entire life… Every time I think of my son Michael, i go to God.. That’s the gift my son left me with… Godspeed Denise..

Lost my dad on Dec 24, 2020.. he was a very healthy 92 years old. He was in lock down in a seniors center because of covid. Christmas was his most favorite time of year. My dad could not enjoy Christmas with his family because of covid and the lock down. The words in this song, "they locked you down, made you grieve alone.." hit home and is so relatable to me. Thank you Eric!

I knew your songs and loved them the best all through my young years but didn’t know the face until later. I want to tell you how much I appreciate you! Liberal musicians take the easy road to profits and increased fanbase! I love some of their music but HATE their politics! Clapton gets it! There was NO reason to shut down the economy. Sweden never did and never masked school kids. And they had less covid than we did. WEIRD. We are NOT treating the virus until it's too late. Plenty of low-cost treatments but that doesn't help sell the expensive drugs. Sad it's come down to that.

Very good song that I had not heard before. I have been reading the biography of Eric's life that was published a few years ago, and it is just amazing what he has had to overcome in his life and it is great to know that he is still making a difference in this world with his great music!

Eric Clapton will be remembered as one of the first in the freedom movement of the 60s, and again in the 2020s! In 50 years, this will be remembered as being important as it is today.
